AMERICAN CREDIT SOLUTIONS consumer fraud ripoff TAMPA Florida
I RECEIVED A CARD IN THE MAIL, STSTING THAT I HAVE A $4000.00 CREDIT LIMIT. WHEN I CALLED THEY IMMEDIATELY ASKED FOR MY BANKING INFORMATION. I WAS HESITANT .....
I spoke to a Jonathan Cox. He asked me for my banking information and I had declined. He then assured me that that this company works directly with Visa and there is no way they would fraud me.
There was no mention of this only being a catalog ordering company.
Then I called back to cancel my order and I spoke to Lamonica operator # 205. I told her I could not afford to have the 199.95 to be taken out of my checking account. She then gave me her speech and convinced me to just change the date, So I did.
Now it is November 15th 2002 and the 199.95 has been deducted from my account. I am a bit nervous.
I called back on November 18, 2002 and spoke to another operator.
now I am being told that when I receive this catalog I will have to pay for my first order with a money order, and pay off another 99.00 fee in three installments of 33.00 each.
So what the hech was the 199.95 for. Oh yeah, its a mambership fee. Also I now have to wait 21 days to receive this catalog. And then I can request my refund.
I will keep you informed. I truly feel like an idiot. But I see I am not the lone ranger.
