All their company contacts and details have been updated at BBB and you will notice American Digital out of WA has over 60 domain names. Such as TurnMyAlarmBackOn.com policealarm.com Ulcenter.com americandigitalmonitoring.com GoToMyAlarm.com alarmemail.com AlarmPartner.com halfpricealarm.com AlarmMonitoringServices.com

They will accept your payment by returning your call shortly. Their tech support will call you back much later likely after 72 hours, which will then be past the 72 hours beyond their cancellation policy. Worst of all, they are not able to monitor your alarm by Brinks and therefore no service is provided. They will claim that they "refund if the conversion cannot be done due to their inability", however the bait and switch is that you have to lease their expensive system. They will suggest to ship you their in-house alarm system and if you don't accept their offer, then it is not their 'inability to convert the system". When you try to cancel, they become rude and they will say you can only cancel after 60 days. So without service provided, no cancellation, you have been scammed into another internet false advertising scheme

The list of scam goes on, as they ask that you mail a cancellation form with "certified proof of delivery" or they will continue to bill you with the credit card number you have provided. You will also discover that the cancellation form asks for a social security for "security reasons"?, so they can later threaten you with collections and credit reports for a service you may have not received.

To date American Digital has not provided any form of service, has not installed any services but continues to bill.

Go to BBB and see that as of Nov 2009, they still have an F rating with the BBB for resolving customer complaints, so much for "an occasional complaint.  See (((Redacted))) for my experience and more information on this company.

To set the record straight, we offer a 100% no questions asked refund if cancelled within 72 hours OR a refund if the alarm conversion cannot be done due to our inability regardles of time frame, P-E-R-I-O-D. Our service fees average 80% LESS than our competition and we hold the highest alarm conversion rate in the industry with over 10,000 systems a year. We have been in business since 1968 and monitor in excess of 150,000 Customer accounts Nationwide. including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada. With the number of accounts we provide alarm services to every second of every minuite of every hour of every day 365 days a year, we are bound to have ocassional unsatisfied customers or an ocassional BBB complaint. But for over 99.99% of our Customers, they are satisfied, safe and saving! As a LIFE SAFETY SERVICE, our agreement CLEARLY states that any emergency alarm monitoring cancellation must be done IN WRITING and 60 days prior to the intended date of cancellation in order for us to CONFIRM and VALIDATE the cancellation was ordered by a AUTHORIZED person.
