AIUO is one of the biggest educational scams I have ever come upon. I looked into the school in May of 2005, in order to further my education. I was just interested in the program and before you knew it I was enrolled with a 2100 dollar bill.

I had stated many times to my "Advisor" that I did not want to be enrolled and that I wanted to wait till I was stable (Military Spouse) but they went forward with the billing. A few weeks into the class the FIN. Aid Dept sent an email saying that my paperwork was incomplete and that I would be withdrawn if I didn't turn it in. I faxed them the paperwork and was told that i was missing more paperwork. Well needless to say I was withdrawn and failed the class.

I then told my advisor that I wanted no more, she told me it was too late that my books had already been sent, to the wrong address. She also told me that I was on academic probation for failing the last class which I was withdrawn from.

In mid August 2005 I officially withdrew I was then told that I had to pay 2100 right away and that I would not be allowed to make payments. I told them I couldn't and AIUO sent my bill to collection and had it put on my credit report.

I am the wife of a soldier and I know how my FAFSA stands, AIUO had multiple errors with my income and would not issue the proper Fin Aid. I was lied to about grants, it turns out that I had a pell grant but AIUO would not let me have it. They instead wanted cash.

On multiple instances they have not answered any questions only sent me in circles. Nobody at AIUO will give me any straight answers. All I want is my name cleared...

AIUO ... Tax rip offs

The latest addition to the AIUO Scam... I recieved my tution statement for my taxes and there are at least three MAJOR errors. One I made about 200.00 in payments that are not being reported. Two The billed amount is a number out of nowhere, I have never seen this figure anywhere... 2405.00 is three hundred more than they say I owe. Last but not least they don't even know the level of my education placing me as a graduate student, making me not qualified for certin benefits.
