American Pro Moving Most broken stuff ever Lincolnwood Illinois
We moved on July 19, 2009. It took them 2.5 hours to load the truck the destination was 15 minutes away if we pushed the truck ourselves. It took them 2 hours to unload the truck with 3 men and myself and my husband helping. When we were loading the truck the guys would disappear.
The one guy stood on my kitchen table with his street shoes to load the new place. (There were plenty of boxes to use for that purpose.) I don't stand on my kitchen table with my street shoes!
It was a horrible move that we had made 2 other times with the same amount of stuff except we has a stove and fridge the first two times. The most it took the other 2 times was 3 hours. I will never use them again.
I ended up paying almost $600 for broken items and because it took them so long to load the truck my husband and I left stuff at the old place and moved it ourselves without a truck, it took us another 2 hours. We had movers because we move a waterbed, they left one of the waterbed boards and the rails. I had to drive them to the new place myself with my husband holding them to make sure they did not fly off the car.
I called and talked to Jeff the one who answers the phone. His only response was sorry and he will investigate what happened. I have not received a phone call or anything. An offer to give back some of the money they stole, etc.
