Anyone interested in a class action lawsuit against this company/affiliates/sister-companies including the owner, Aldo Disorbo (possible alias Al Luciano, his brother is Anthony Disorbo, mother is Josephine) due to holding freight hostage, theft, etc. would be extremely helpful in stopping him from doing this anymore than he already has. I have already been contacted by NBC out of Manhattan about a possible story on fraudulent moving company practices. My phone number is 832-863-0160. I will be forwarding this information on to NBC. Am about to begin filing police reports in the originating state of pickup, Florida (where the company supposedly is), as well as the state where the company says our belongings are being held hostage. Also, we were informed that our truck had been unloaded and reloaded. That says to me that they have gone through our possessions, since the semi trailer was completely full. That concerns me greatly for possible theft. Take pictures of your current living conditions, as this could help in punitive damages if this were to go to court.

Your help will be a Godsend. Thank you very much.

Ridiculous damage control attempt

Aside from the pain and suffering AVL has caused us through lies, ridiculously low offers to shut us up, complete stagnation in terms of beginning anew in a new city via holding our belongings hostage for 40+ days, anxiety, broken belongings, missing belongings, etc., they have provided a good laugh for us with their low-balling settlement offers. How stupid they are to think that people will continue to roll over and take their crap. We are ramping up, as others are doing, to begin a lawsuit. We already know of and have been contacted by others who are in the process of doing the same.

This will not go away until we bring justice. And it will happen :) Bring it AVL. We are already there.

We are moving forward via law enforcement agencies and a potential lawsuit, and your ridiculous settlement offer is just another sign to us that you are trying in vain to asuage a situation that has escalated into something much larger and completely avoidable had you done your job in the first place. After discovering, through research on the internet, that our belongings are being held by a company and its affiliates who's owner is a convicted felony in Broward County, FL for violations in the moving insustry, your words are just more of the same, lies. Aldo Disorbo and Anthony Disorbo, I am guessing, are the rebuttals to our complaint, can expect that this will not end simply by returning our belongings which we worked hard for, just as everyone else who have complained about on this forum. This has become much bigger than you realize, and justice will be served. Your company has much more to do to make this right. MUCH.

Don't waste our time anymore. There are many eyes and ears out there who are very interested in this travesty who are actively investigating the goings on of your so-called businesses. We are exploring many avenues to making this right for ALL.

Tell me, would it not have been easier to do the right thing in the first place? Maybe soon you will have an answer to THAT question. I pray that your "company(ies) will grow a conscience. It truly is shameful.

One of our main goals is to be able to provide exceptional customer service and assist in providing our customers with a smooth transition to their new surroundings. While moving can be stressful, issues can arise to prevent a successful move and we wish to extend our most sincere apologies for failing to meet your expectations, and the frustrations and inconveniences caused as a result of the delays you are experiencing regarding delivery of your household goods. Our company was hired to coordinate and arrange the move and not to handle or otherwise participate in the move as the the actual carrier transporting your belongings, however, as moving coordinator, our company has been playing an active role in ensuring that you are promptly informed of any updated information we receive from the agent who will be delivering your household goods.

Our records confirm that contact has been maintained with you since the start of the move and although the information may seem insufficient, it is important to us that you are kept up-to-date with any information provided regarding your move and our records indicate that compensation has also been extended for the delays and inconveniences caused. Please know that we are making genuine attempts in rectifying this situation, as we are always working diligently to ensure that all of our customers are satisfied with the services provided, regardless of the factors that may work against us due to the vulnerable nature of the moving industry.

This is nothing more than an unforeseen delay and we assure you that the agent has not tampered with any of your items being transported at this time. We appreciate your business and the patience you have exercised thus far and as your moving coordinator, we will continue to provide our assistance in resolving this pressing matter and representatives of our office will remain in constant contact with you to provide any information relayed to us regarding your move, until we have confirmed that your household goods have been delivered.
