This company has to be one of the lowest around.
Patricia, the owner, comes off as a Ginuwine person, who can easily relate to yourself. However, DO NOT, let her get to you!
This company has got caught stealing work, stealing materials and several other items.
Patricia thinks of herself and only herself, therefore neglecting all work you are waiting to have completed. The workers and herself get overwhelmed and work does not get finished!!
On top of all that, She has been KNOWN to hire on employee after employee, work them until they then finally decide to quit, and not pay them!
Coming up with excuse after excuse.

American Virtual Associates Response to the report is as follows:
1 - Employees are NOT hired - any virtual team member or part-time on location/virtual member are all on a 1099 Independent Contractor.
2 - Stealing material, work, and other items: A former Virtual Assistant with the company who has been since terminated from all association with AVA and another major company was the individual who provided materials and represented herself in creating materials for the company which in turn were discovered to be reproductions word for word of another business and all those materials were destroyed and documentation of the source who created those materials were provided with over 300 pages of communication. - this is a legal matter that all the information has not been provided by the individual with the complaint who is also close friends with the person who provided and stole materials then used them to represent herself and the department she created with AVA.
3 - 90% of the clients pay commission only which ALL the virtual assistants assigned those accounts all know and accept that the work is paid per sale, qualified appointment or production. If you don't work or make the sale you don't get paid.
4 - Due to a client TAPA United / Acquiset who ran a large scam not only on myself but over 200 or more people in this country the person who filed this complaint/report was hired on as a virtual assistant for this project and all payment was on the status of a recruiter and payment to be paid by the client. - when the client scammed everyone in the country - offers to try to undue the financial damage to everyone was presented and the individual in this complaint failed to do the job or didn't show up for work to be done and disappeared for over a week with company materials and did not provide them when requested or when this individual stated would be completed.
Like many businesses challenges are faced. It is unfortunate that reports like this can be filed without the full story or without all the legal facts. It is regrettable that reports can be made without documentation or without first an investigation. The individual in this report/complaint was victim to the TAPA United / Acquiset project scam, as well as that scam forced the business into bankruptcy which this report is entirely in retaliation that everyone suffered.
It is with the deepest regret of the owner that things happened the way they did and a vast majority were beyond her control. All parties involved in the matter of a VA associated with the business who stole the materials and provided them have been addresses, solutions offered and are being handled by a legal team as both businesses were victims to the actions of one individual.
