Ameripos ripoff lied misled me to believe that they would assist in locating my terminals Hallandale Beach Florida
In December, 2003 I made contact with Amerip.o.s., and was quite impressed with what I believed to be a sound business model. I found nothing that would suggest that the company did not live up to its claims. After all, they were listed with the better business bureau. Amerip.o.s. even provided me with names and phone numbers of three distributors. I called each and every one of them and they all assured me that it had turned out to be a very profitable business indeed. Consequentially, I decided to invest $16,985.00 for 7 terminals.
It is now JULY 3, 2004 AND ONLY 2 TERMINALS are in place and neither are producing much and I have been unable to get a locator to assist me for more than 3 months for the rest. I wassent on several wild goose chases before the locations completed dwindled to nothing.
Like the others state, I was told the terminals avg about $380 per month and I was simply going to the business owners location to deliver, get the paperwork signed and show them how to use the terminal. I wouldn't have to do a thing once the terminal was in place. Boy, I am so gullible. I should have known it was too good to be true.
They falsely claimed the competitiveness of the pre-paid cellular rates. I was informed that the prepaid cellular rates were competitive. Not only that, but the percentage that Ameripos collects on each transaction is astronomical. The retailer gets approx 10%per transaction and we might get a pittance of that. I never asked that question b4 buying and if I had I would have realized that this would be hard to sell to a retail store.
I have essentially given up at this point, but do not want any others to suffer this same consequence.

Just thought you'd be interested in knowing that AmeriPOS is now getting in on the internet kiosks scam business and is selling internet kiosks as Tel2Net. Same people.
