I am writting to let you know this company is the worse company to have a loan through. I am on a payment plan and have been for months and it has cost me more money then my house is worth and they also said that they had sent back a check to me and i said i never received it back and so i called the money order place and they said it was cashed by Ameriquest mortgage and the date they cashed it so i called them back and they said i would have to go and get a copy of it and send it to them and i told her that it was going to cost me $12.00 for their mistake. Nothing was never done with it because i knew it was a big mess and they didn't owe that back to me it was part of my payment so i didn't do nothing about it. They never have their stories staright and everytime you call there they have a different story. They are not even suppose to be calling me while i am on the payment plan and the other night i got 2 phones calls and the next day i got more and i told them that i was on the payment plan and they said there was nothing in the computor saying that and then i got a letter saying they are going to start forclosure on my house if these payments are not made by Dec 7,2004. In the last months it has cost me over 7000.00 which i feel is a rip off they don't care about you as a person all they want to their money or your house.

Boy do I understand your feeling. I wish I had done more research on this company prior to financing with them. I also had a complaint in which is on this fine, fine website. They had and have misapplied my payments. If it weren't for the 3 year, $6000.00 prepayment penalty I would have refinanced already. They couldn't find my last month payment also so I had to do one on the internet. Convienient how that always seems to work in their favor. If you register with myameriquest.com you can monitor your account everyday after you send in a payment. Hope it gets better for you and you can eventually get away from them.
