Ameriquest Mortgage Ripoff Lied thru loan process, blatantly Go elsewhere!! San Diego California
Just closed a loan with Ameriquest, Rancho Bernardo. Found after the fact that they lied on many things they told me. Most importantly they pressured me to close my equity line of credit, promising to pay the pre-pay penalty out of branch funds.
My loan agent, George, offered this to begin with and repeated it at least 15 times. But when my fees and disbursement record came from the title company, they made me pay. They, the manager, Edgar, included, have no acurate or honest response for this lie and are avoiding calls.
Now I'm seeing all these other complaints and this seems to be their normal method. I believe I have circumvented their deceipt by instructing my bank to keep my line open. Let's hope they did not forge any of my documents and I have no need to get any insurance claim checks co-signed by them.
