I HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE LAST REPORT, TOM MILAM IS A LYING PR**K BUT MY REPORT IS ABOUT SOME OF THE PEOPLE WHO KEPT THEIR JOBS.  #1 KIM MATHIS, THIS WOMEN MORE THEN ONCE CALLED ME ON THE COMPANY LINE DRUNK OFF HER A** TELLING ME HOW GREAT I WAS DOING AND I KNOW ONE OF THOSE TIMES SHE WAS IN HER CAR(I COULD HEAR THE TRAFIC) KIM WE ALL KNOW YOU HAVE A PROBLEM BUT d**n YOU COULD KILL SOMEBODY.  KIM WAS TOM'S PUPPET AND HE WAS THE REAL DIRECTOR OF SALES, SO GOOD LUCK TRYING TO SAVE THIS SALES DEPARTMENT WITHOUT ANY EXPERIENCE OF DOING IT ON YOUR OWN. #2 SCOTT POTTER WAS THE BIGGEST AS** KISSER I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH AND THE FATTEST AND LAZIEST PERSON AS WELL.  THE GUY WAS ALWAYS POPPING VITAMINS AND GIVING PEOPLE HEALTH ADVICE ALL THE WHILE EATING A THREE PIECE FROM CHURCHES CHICKEN WITH ALL THE FIXINS EVERYDAY. SCOTT I BET ITS BEEN ALONG TIME SINCE YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO LOOK DOWN AND SEE YOUR P**IS WITHOUT YOUR FAT BELLY GETTING IN THE WAY, IF YOU HAVE EVER SEEN IT AT ALL.  EVERYTIME A POSITION WAS INVENTED IT WAS GIVEN AWAY THE SAME DAY WITHOUT GETTING POSTED SO EVERYONE WOULD HAVE A SHOT, MAKING THIS PLACE A DEADEND JOB.  ONLY THE PEOPLE WHO HAD THEIR LIPS ON KIMS FAT A** WOULD EVER ADVANCE AND SCOTTS WERE JUST THE RIGHT SIZE.  SCOTT HAS A BIG OL BROWN NOSE AND ITS NOT BECAUSE THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN.  ITS FUNNY TO ME THAT HE IS A COACH NOW IN CHARGE OF COACHING SALES. HE WILL BE THE FIRST TO ADMIT THAT HE WAS ABOUT TO GET FIRED FOR DOING NOTHING WHEN HE GOT HIS FIRST a*s KISS PROMOTION FOR KISSING SOME BETTY A**. THE ONLY THING I HAVE EVER SEEN SCOTT SELL IS AVON SO FOR HIS SAKE THIS PLACE BETTER STAY A FLOAT BECAUSE THE CHANCE OF HIM WORKING FOR A NEW COMPANY UNDER AN ALCOHOLIC DIRECTOR WHO IS AS DUMB AS A DOG WHO EATS ITS OWN S**T ARE SLIM. #3 THE NEW MGR FROM DELL(LEFT EYE) I ONLY KNEW THIS GUY FOR A FEW WEEKS BUT I COULD TELL HE IS A REAL TOOL.  HOW THEY COULD KEEP HIM OVER JASON CRISEL WHO WORKED HIS A** OFF AND DID EVERYTHING RIGHT TO GET THAT JOB IS BEYOND ME.  HE MUST BE ONE OF KIM'S BAR ROOM BUDDY'S TOO.  JASON SHOULD HAVE POPPED HIM IN HIS GOOD EYE.  DELL GOT RID OF HIM FOR A REASON AND I'M SURE IT WASN'T BECAUSE HE WAS A GOOD MANGER. 



NOW LETS TALK ABOUT OUR PARENT COMPANY, TENNESSEE HEALTH MANAGEMENT.  TENNESSE RANKS #5 FOR THE WORST NURSING HOMES IN THE COUNTRY AND THIS COMPANY OWNS A MAJORITY OF THEM. IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR GRANDMA TO GET BEAT ON I SUGGEST YOU DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE YOU PUT HER IN ONE OF THEIR HOMES.  I HEARD FROM SOMONE THAT WORKS AT ONE THAT THEY ARE MANAGED POORLY AS WELL.  THE IRONIC THING IS I WAS GOING TO PUT MY TWO WEEK NOTICE IN THE DAY I WAS LAID OFF SO THIS IS SUCH A BLESSING AS I HAVE A GREAT JOB LINED UP THAT I START NEXT WEEK.  MY ONLY ADVICE IS THAT EVERYONE STILL WOKING AT AMMED GET YOUR RESUMES READY AS RUMOR HAS IT APRIL 1ST THE DOORS WILL BE SHUT AND I DON'T THINK IT WILL BE AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE. THE RUMORS HAVE BEEN RIGHT SO FAR.  THEY KEPT ENOUGH PEOPLE TO CLEAR THEIR INVENTORY AND CLOSE SHOP.   GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL.

I agree that Scott should not be a scapegoat. In most cases the Team Leads did not even know the lay offs were coming and a lot of TLs were even let go. The directors and some managers made the decisions. It did seem very random in some cases almost as if closing their eyes and pointing to names on a roster. Very unfortunate that many of the people laid off didn't see it coming.

 No one can say for sure what is to come for Am Med. From what I saw in my time there I dont think it could possibly be good. I think this may have truly been a blessing in disguise for those let go as a previous post stated the ship is going down and lifeboats are limited... And who do you think the VPs, etc are gonna sell out if it comes down to it? The peons, that is who.

I agree that Scott Potter isn't to blame and needed/wants to keep his job just like everyone else.  This person obviously didn't agree with his "style" of work.  However there are some truths (albeit a bit extreme) in the rest of this report as well as the forementioned rebuttal - this was upper managements decision and some of those who had been there the longest, knew the most and tried their best were the ones they chose to lay off.  The lay off was taken down to a "personal" level not a work/performance level.

AmMed has been "skirting" and pushing the limits with Medicare a good while so it has now come time to "pay the piper."  Will anyone see "hard time?", highly doubtful - Medicare could shut them down when they find out how extensive the violations go...but moreover, Medicare is going to want the money that is due to them....then they'll figure out what punitive damages they want to access.

There is still some serious "things" at AmMed that have yet to see the "light of day" and is being "held tight and closely guarded."  It's going to all come out regardless of what upper management, Jim Smith and his posse of lawyers try to do.  Unfortunately, there will be more good people hurt from trying to "hang in there with hope" as the ship continues to spring more leaks and has few lifeboats left.  It's time for those still there to either get on the boat and row for shore or stay onboard and drown with the rest of the rats.

To who ever posted that bogus report about Scott Potter.....I have known this guy for a number of years, and he is nothing like you described him to be in this "BOGUS" report. He didn't have anything to do with the "layoffs" he is a coach, not a manager. So before you start bashing him, you should've done your homework, because management and HR are the only ones that could make the decision as to who got laid off and who stayed! The bottom line is: Yes we were all affected by Management's decision to end our employment, but if you're going to be mad and start pointing fingers....point them at right people, don't start slandering the very person that you smiled in his face everyday and that probably saved your butt from being fired a long time ago. Signed: Your ex-co-worker!!! I got laid off too, and I know Scott didn't have anything to do with it!!!!!!!!!!
