I've used them and it was a total disaster.

I used Amoma for the first time to book two rooms in San Antonio over Memorial Day weekend. I am very picky about hotels and I booked this particular hotel because it had been recently renovated and it had an on-site cafe and restaurant, as well as an outdoor pool and a beautiful garden. When I arrived, the hotel had no record of my reservations. They asked when I had booked and they said it was impossible, as they had been sold out prior to that date. I called Amoma. What an event. I spent a total of about 3 hours on hold with their Indian call center.

One person I spoke with could barely speak English. I did speak with one helpful person who tried to help me over the next few hours. He managed to find me two rooms at another hotel. He did not offer (or ask) about my transportation getting there. The other hotel was horrid. It was located in a parking lot behind a much nicer hotel. The amenities were scarce.

There was an indoor pool that was so dirty, I wouldn't stick my big toe in there. I called Amoma again, after 45 minutes on hold, I was disconnected. I called again. Again, I had to wait for a return call. BTW, they could never manage to call me at the number that I gave them. Anyway, I was told to take it or leave it, in no uncertain terms. Note, this is Memorial Day weekend and the city was basically sold out.

Needless to say, I will not be using this service again. I also plan to file complaints with the AG offices in Texas and my home state. In their FAQ, Amoma states that if you call the hotel, they may not have your reservation because they don't send the information until just before your arrival. Don't believe them.
