On my recent statement from my Sears Mastercard,I saw a charge for $48.79 with a description of AMR LD Service Plan that I knew nothing about!
I called the number several times,being put on hold for 10-15 minutes at a time.No music,no sound to show line was still open.
I finally reached a live person and asked who are you? and what do you do? She replied about being a long distance calling plan.
I said I never heard of them and how would this charge get on my card.Did a telemarketer call me? A web site order? She said it had to be initiated by me!! WRONG!!
She asked when I was charged I told her 5-28-02,she automatically said she would refund $ to card but would take 7 to 10 business days.
Now I wait.....
