On June 22, 2020 I entered into contract with Jeff Woods of Anchor Down Logistics, LLC to transport my new boat from Winthorp Harbor, IL to Bay City, MI for a total of $1791.80.
He required a deposit of $361.80 to be wired to his bank.
On July 13, 2020, the agreed upon date of pick up, the truck and driver never showed. I had arranged and prepaid a third and fourth party crane lifts to place the boat on the trailer and to remove it at the destination.
Jeff ignored my calls and texts all that day then lied to me the following day about the drive being delayed at the last stop. I was strung along with this lie for a few days before Jeff admitted (through text) that he could not provide the service.
Jeff Woods refuses to refund my deposit of $361.80
