On Wednesday at about 3:50 pm i went to Sichuan Jin River restaurant to get dinner with a friend and then realized that i left my wallet in my car after buying a food item so i went back to my car to get my wallet only to find my car missing ..i then went about looking for a number to call for the tow company... i then had to walk to my lawyers office which was nearby to place a call to the tow company to find out if they had towed my car..upon contact with the tow company i asked if my car was towed by them to which the lady i spoke with on the phone replied no..

she said my car was not a the lot after getting a description of the car a 2014 VW Jetta and told me to call back...but then informed me that i would have to pay Anchor towing a sum of $135 to get my car back..at which time i informed her that i was not going to do any such thing, and that i have a time stamped receipt from the restaurant and that they had no right to have taken my car..upon getting to Anchor towing i spoke with a manager who was abusive treating and used racial slurs at me calling me names 4 times and said he was going to set his dogs on me..he said i left the property and that was why my car was towed ..

i told him i did not do any such thing..upon which he informed me that the only way i was going to get my car back was by paying him what i owed him..at this point i call the police which came over and said that there was little they could do and that i should file a complaint with the Maryland Attorney General consumer protection division and also the civil rights division...My Complaint is that Anchor towing illegally took my car and rather that return it to me upon the presentation of a receipt from a business i was patronizing and was legally allowed to park in their lot..i was threatened and abused..

The reason there are so many inconsistancies is because IF this poster told the truth then THEY would be seen as LESS of a victim. PETTY INTERNET REVENGE requires that this poster play the best victim possible to make the towing company look as bad as they can. When the REALITY is that this person got towed due to thier inability to follow that particular businesses policy on parking there. NOT that the tow company did ANYTHING illegal but that this poster was inconvenced and is looking to make the best case possible. Now it IS possible that the poster is NOT omitting on purpose but I doubt it HIGHLY!!!!

Given the slant and tone of this post I can pretty much tell that this poster did indeed get towed for parking illegaly and is only doing this to make themselves feel better by bad mouthing the company that caused THEM a problem. Heres a thought, GROW UP YOU CHILD!!!! YOU were the responsible party in ALL of this because it was YOU vehicle. Odds are that YOU CHOSE to walk to another business and in doing so got towed. THIS IS ON YOU!!!! YOU drove the vehicle. YOU parked the vehicle. YOU walked AWAY from YOUR vehicle for a long enough time that calling a tow truck was required. Stupidity and self entitlment are NOT a pretty combo on YOU. Accept YOUR part in all of this and LEARN from it. Dont sit there and DEFAME them for only doing what they are supposed to do. YOU SCREWED UP!!!!

I know YOUR ego wont let YOU admit that YOU are just as human as anyone else. Its OK!!!! WE can see that YOU screwed up and so will ANYONE who reads YOUR POST!!! Also if I were YOU, I would duck and cover. Once the tow company gets a email pointing them to YOUR post, YOU can be sure THEY are going to be interested in taking YOU to court for DEFAMATION!!!!aND DO not SIT THERE AND THINK THAT you ARE SAFE FROM PROSECUTION!!! Everything you do is logged!!! Obviously YOU are NOT smart enough to realize when YOU are screwing yourself so YOU wouldnt be smart enough to cover your tracks online.

A picture is worth 1000 words as they say and the receipt you posted says a lot.

So here is what really happened.  You parked in this parking lot probably before 3:50PM, you LEFT the parking lot to go to another business.  Now, when you were done from that business you returned to your car only to find out that the car was towed.  So what did you do?  You went inside the resturaunt and bought a single bottled soda to try and justify that you were a "customer".  Oh and by the way even though you tried to disguise the actual time you didn't do good enough.  The receipt clearly shows you didn't buy the bottled soda until 4:07:39 PM...almost an entire 20 minutes after you claimed.  So hardly in the "about" category anymore.

How do I know this is what happened?

For one, you claimed you were at this resturant to have dinner with a friend.  Yet you have a receipt for a single carry-out soda.

Next, claim your wallet was left in your car yet you were able to pay for this soda.

Your first reaction wasn't to go to the management of the resturant and ask why it was towed, or to the police reporting a stolen car.  No, according to your own post your first reaction was to look for a number for the tow company and then walk all the way to your attornies office to make the call.  In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it was your lawer that you had visited earlier in the day when you parked in this lot.

Then when you went to your attorney, not one mention as to why they aren't taking care of this for you?

Then what about this friend who apparently was eatting dinner?  Not a single mention of them at all after your first sentence.  How come they couldn't help you in any of this?

If you walked to your Attorney's office to place the call then what is the reason you just did not let your Attorney handle it?
