Its amazing how a company like Anicall Wireless could exist. I was an employee there for almost 2 years and it would strike you odd if i said this but... none of us existed. Thats right. Anicall Wireless had 0 employees and 1 boss. Everyone that worked there was blackmailed and/or guaranteed large sums of money as pay. The boss, Jeong Ah Lee, went around to illegal immigrants and blackmailed them into working for her. Employee pay depended solely on how she felt at the moment and her business conduct was in one word... disguisting.

Anicall Wireless is a provider of ATT, Cingular, and T-Mobile. We gave phones for free when a customer would activate a service with us...little did they know the contract they were signing was in a language they did not understand... but "explained" by us who were told to lie. In the contracts were rediculous fees and terms that the customer would most definately disagree to. For example, Activation fee was 150 dollars + the providers activation fee, there was a fee of 250 dollars after contract is over, there was a fee of 120 dollars for the phone if it was used (yes thats right, 120 dollars MORE for purchasing a USED phone.) At the end of the contract, the customer must return the phone in new condition or a 250 dollar fine would be charged.

Now the way they conducted business is unique. They would go to a neighborhood filled with a minority that couldnt speak english and blackmail a sad soul who speaks their language to sell them their service. Ms. Lee would make the employees work from 7am to 11pm everyday (including sundays, holidays, and etc) Pay was monthly (if we ever got it) and the amount would be totally on the way she felt at the time. She would act mad and pretend shes the victim of bad business due to our not working hard enough at pay times. So she would use one of her blackmail techniques (she assigned us cell phones to use and said that the amount of phone usage we use is in the tens of thousands of dollars a month.) After meeting with a couple other employees in the streets, I noticed none of us even used the cell phone because they rarely worked (old models that were practically broken.) If she was happy and felt like actually paying us, in a month we got about...120$??? And with the money we have to spend on gas, trips... we were making negative pay.

When she hired us, she never got any of our information, just our phone number, so no taxes no nothing was filed out. This is "under the table" as she would say. She forced one female employee into her house to babysit her sister, whom go to an arguement with, and had a fight. She threw a pot at the employee and kicked her out of the house screaming at her. The employee said she wanted to call the police, but Ms. Lee, knowing that the employee couldnt due to her citizenship status, just laughed and left her out there... to walk more than 22 miles home.

I talked to many employees that were involved with ms. lee, and everyone was either fired or they ran away. One ex-employee I talked to said she let him borrow her car, but not only was he blackmailed (theres her business strategy again) into PAYING for the repairs of the car he did not make and she forced him to do many illegal operations for the business. Such as: creating false identities, making false statements to lie to the parent company (ATT, Cingular, T-Mobile), and many other acts.

She would blatantly lie to her parent companies and obscure figures to maximize her profit. She decided to "show appreciation for her employees" and offered commision for every service we sold. BUT, the commision was a lie, a total flat out lie. She said we could get 10,000 dollars a day if we sold over 100 phones. So being the optimistic blackmailed employees we were, we worked almost 19 hours a day selling phones on the streets. And when one of our workers, asian, reached the 100, she just laughed and claimed she never said such a thing.

She ruined many lives. I am now kicked out of my house and live with my aunt. My car was repoed and my belongings all sold to make ends meet.

How can ONE person with no license, no tax forms, no employees, and no human qualities be in business this long? She cut all ties with everyone and moved upstate to Temecula to start over and left us with a bunch of used phones we had to pay for.

I hope this reaches ATT, Cingular, T-mobile.
