We organised the service of the Gold Coast Pet Ambulance via the emergency hospital to take our pet to Brisbane. Please DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, the guy over charged us by $120 as we were quoted $100 or under. He was doing 120km in the rain and we know this as we followed him and had to flash him to slow down as our very sick pet was inside his 'ambulance'. He handled our pet as if it was a package of some sort, certainly not an animal. This man also picked up our pet at the vet hospital without first asking what was wrong with him and handled him right on his open wound, at this point I took over and said I would carry him. He kept hitting the cage on the doors on the way out and just slammed the door shut hard after putting our cat in his dodgy van.!! He also turned up with a cage more suitable for a rat than a cat. It was honestly the smallest pet cage Ive ever seen. This man also wrecks of ex bikie and has all the signs of a dodgy character, I'm certainly no prude but hes aura is very off and I thought we would have a much more professional looking person turn up and kinder someone who likes their job and also pets.
The service was so disgusting we are taking him to A Current Affair, had I known it was going to be this bad we would have taken him ourself, but had thought being in an Ambulance he would be be safer. Do NOT use this service please transport your animal yourself as I wouldn't take this service for Free knowing how he treated our pet and us, VERY DODGY!!!. please BEWARE, I';ve heard others complaining about his ambulance service as well.!!
