As a Financial Advisor looking to build my practice, but no dedicate 100% of my time to prospecting, I was very interested in what Alan Scott had to say his company Annuity Solutions could do for me. For $1000 they would guarantee me 25 face-to-face appointments to review prospects financial assets. However, the results have been less than terrible. The appointments are set 24 hours in advance and any appointment that does not result in a full presentation, would be replaced. But as you will see with the results I have been tracking, I was looking for a refund.

Since I started using Annuity Solutions in December 2007 they have set 39 appointments, 23 were not even home, 15 said they never set an appointment, and 1 was an actual appointment. Remember these appointments were set only 24 hours prior. I contacted the BBB and was told Annuity Solutions policy was to replace the appointment, no refunds are permitted in their contract. I have also sent numerous emails and made many phone calls to Annuity Solutions requesting a refund, only to be told they do not give refunds. Many of these appointments are 20 or more miles away and a waste of time and gas to drive to, only to have no one home.

I cannot see how they continue to operate, as with results like this I will not be a returning customer and I am considering just writing off the $1000.

Dean White is a Scammer - not his real name

Dean White is actually Dwight Peterson. He operates his scam from Anaheim, CA. Search Fast Annuity or Annuity Sales in the Ripoffreport. He is not interested in setting appointments, only taking your money. He operates under several aliases.

I just received a call from a Dean White, claiming we talked in the past about annuity leads. The funny thing is that the voice was very familiar to Alan Scott, a voice that I will not soon forget. Just wanted to let you know that he may be using a new name for his scam.

Alan Scott changes his website and name of his company every few months. The new name and website is: Annuity Network www.annuitynetwork.net The name of his last company was Annuitysolutions.net It's the same story with this guy every time. He guarantees appointments that are supposedly made by sending out mail. If you are interested, ask him to send you a copy of the mailer. He can't send you one, and will refuse to do so. Reason being is because he never sends out the mail. He also says he qualifies the appointments but if you ask him how he does it, he gets very defensive.
