I'm a PhD candidate in the Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland. I am interested in US History, especially its military history, so I began reading The New Military Forum (militaryaffairs.proboards.com). I met a man there named Anthony "Tony" Lash, who told me that he had graduated from Virginia Military Institute and served in the US Army. He said that his military background included fighting the Germans in WWII and "keeping the Bolsheviks out of Europe" in the 1960s. He said he also served in the Vietnam War, and had a Congressional Medal of Honor.
He sounded very interesting, and I considered writing about his experiences. I visited him at his home in Oregon. I noticed that some of his details about his life seemed to change, so I and asked him about it. I suffered two episodes similar to heart attacks afterward, while still staying at home. I had never suffered anything like that before or after the trip. It also seemed as if there was some kind of tranquilizer
there, so that I would not be so alarmed by the pain of the heart attacks.
I returned to Finland, and much of what Lash told me about his military career cannot be proven. Also, the Mensa and Intertel groups do not list him as a member. Lash is irritable and prone to personal conflicts on the internet. Be careful!

He's been bothering the women of Mensa for decades.

To Anthony: What are your Mensa and Intertel membership numbers? Also, why have you been joining Mensa and Intertel internet groups for years to complain that their members are "fat, old and sloppy"?

This guy,and the anonymous gender challenged female which filed the first one, provided me and friends with a lot of amusement. I hope others have enjoyed their fairy stories, also.

"I have double checked and his membership in those organizations is recorded by both in their member records."
He is not in either directory and hasn't been for the past several years that he's been bothering the paid members of both.

The writer of the above screed seems to be accusing Tony Lash of attempted murder or at least serious bodily harm. This might be more credible if the writer had not made so many errors of fact.
I stumbled across this ripoff report accidentally. I do not know Tony Lash personally. I had contact with him briefly at Mensa and Intertel meetings. I have double checked and his membership in those organizations is recorded by both in their member records.
I "know" but cannot prove that he is a graduate of VMI because I have seen photos of him marching with the other alumni during alumni days. I am not whitewashing Tony--I found him to be rude, agressive, and profane. But causing physical harm? Not likely.
