anthony van dean ripped off and scammed, screwed others tricked and lied to us victimized many consumers, ebay no better, san diego California
at xmas time was looking to buy a ps2 for my son for xmas. saw this ad on ebay that stated free shipping for a ps2 dutch bid. bid on this item at $300.00. won the bid. it was stated that there were 75 of them for sale.
a few days later i sent the money thru the paypal system for payment of a ps2, that was to shipped to me free of charge. i waited until dec 19th befroe i became worried. a few of the others started emailing people to see if any body recieved there ps2 yet.
well nobody recieved them. what you got on the 21st of dec was a package of a phote of boxes of ps2. this came with a note, this is what you bidded on and won. this enraged me, that i was ripped off right before xmas. soon all 75 people wwere mad and emailing each other a lot.
this anthony van dean was not to be found or heard from. ebay refused to look into this matter. paypal and all the others that wer to be looking itnto this have not come forward with a word on this. at this point all i want is my money back and for him to go to jail for internet fraud. i complained to the necessary places that i was told with nothing from them in return.

eBay supposedly insures your purchase less a $25 deductible. You should be able to get $275 back if you file a time claim with them. If you paid by credit card, you should have filed a complaint with your card issuer. It may be too late by now, but it's worth a try. They may issue a refund.
