Antivirus 2009 Software scam Russia Internet
I signed on to this when it came to me for "AOL members. I needed to get virus protection and i purchased this for $49.95. I did this on 12/31/08. On 1/15 suddenly the site was gone. I couldnt find it anywhere on the computer. I tried to look at my active files, gone. The number provided on my bill is not working of course. The site that brings you to them is from Russia or somewhere over there. Now Im out $50 and still dont have a virus protection.
I am hoping to get my credit card company to reverse this, if not Ive learned my lesson.
