On 9/13 I got a 300 dollar loan online from anydaycash.com. They sent me a promissary note saying I would repay them on 9/27/06 375.00 or a flat fee of 75.00 and renew the loan. They sent me a reminder email stating if I did not notify them I wanted to pay off or pay down the loan it would automactically be extended and my account debited. I did not contact them but the debit never came from my account. On 10/3/06 they called me at work and stated that my loan was due 10/6/06 and that I had requested an extension from 9/27/06 to 10/6/06 and would have to pay 49.00 dollars for that and the 75 dollar fee. I explained I didn't know anything about 49.00 dollars and I had not requested anything. They said I should have called when the debit did not come out and they are charging me for 9 days. I argued and argued that that was their mistake, she "wendy" tried to say I had talked to her and told her that I needed to prolong the loan and agreed to the 49 dollars and I must have forgotten. I pulled up the website there is not mention of charging per day it says it is a flat rate fee of 75.00 dollar for 14 days and I had signed to have electronic debit so they should have took it out on the 14th day. I emailed her over and over and no responce. Found out they were charging illegal rates for my state and then I put a stop payment on my account. I hope the stop payment works because now they say I can't pay the fees I must pay in full which they say is now 424.00 dollars for 300.00 dollar loan. What a scam. I have the prommissary note and it doesn't reflect any of what they are trying to do. Beware they are scammers.
