SAME OLD THING....AOL REFUSES TO REFUND MONEY AFTER TRYING FREE TRIAL FOR ONLY TWO WEEKS. THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD ASAP. DID NOT WAIT EVEN 2 WEEKS, THOUGH THE TRIAL WAS SUPPOSEDLY FOR 90 DAYS. WROTE, CALLED, FAXED. WHEN CALLING, AS OTHERS SAY, NO AVAIL. THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSOURCED TO A FORIEGN COUNTRY, AND THE FOLKS THERE CAN'T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH UNDERSTANDABLY, OR PROPER.

FINALLY-- AOL SAYS IT TAKES 90 DAYS TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT. "NINETY DAYS" TO CREDIT BACK SOMETHING I DIDN'T EVEN BUY?

IT IS SO SAD THAT AOL IS IN SUCH BAD SHAPE THAT THEY HAVE TO USE FRAUD TO KEEP MONEY AFLOAT IN THIER ACCOUNTS........I CANNOT BELIEVE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON THIS WEBSITE, ITN THE THOUSANDS--WHO HAVE THE SAME NUMBER. LAW SUITS, CONSUMER AFFAIRS COMPLAINTS.....DO I HAVE TO DO THAT IN ORDER TO GET A LOUSY $25 CREDITED BACK TO MY ACCOUNT????

LISTEN UP PEOPLE! THE ONLY WAY TO GET A RESPONSE FROM AOL IS TO WRITE THE MUCKY MUCK STEAL YOUR BUCKS, CEO. THEN HE WILL SEND A RUDE PERSON TO CALL YOU. I GOT A CALL FROM A SNIPPY BAT WHO TOLD ME THAT MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY HAS REFUNDED MY CHARGES. SOMETHING I ALREADY KNEW---BECAUSE MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY HAD TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE AOL KEPT CHARGING ON IT----AGAIN AND AGAIN--AFTER I HAD CLOSED MY ACCOUNT IN JULY, I WAS STILL GETTING CHARGED FOR AOL, AND I HAD EVEN UNINSTALLED THEIR SOFTWARE. MY CREDIT CARD REP WAS EVEN GETTING MAD, BECAUSE THEY INVESTIGATED IT, AND SAID THAT THE ONLY WAY TO STOP AOL WAS TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT, AND GIVE ME A NEW CARD AND PIN. I HAD TO WAIT TWO WEEKS FOR A NEW CARD, I COULD NOT CHARGE ANYTHING UNTIL I GOT THE CARD, PLUS I HAD TO WAIT FOR A NEW PIN NUMBER... I TOLD ALL THIS TO THE LADY WHO CALLED ME. I TOLD HER I WANTED TO BE COMPENSATED FOR THAT INCONVENIENCE. TO SUM UP ALL HER WORDS IN A NUTSHELL---SHE BASICALLY SAID--TOO BAD. NOW, I HAD TO WRITE A CERTIFIED LETTER, (WHICH ISN'T CHEAP) SEND IT TO THREE PEOPLE, WAIT FOR A RESPONSE WHILE I WAS CHARGED AGAIN & AGAIN FOR SERVICE I DIDN'T HAVE, AND ....HUH, I AM SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPY BECAUSE I GOT MY MONEY REFUNDED AFTER I HAD TO CLOSE MY BANK ACCOUNT? AND I HAD TO WAIT FOR 3 MONTHS WITH BOGUS CHARGES ON MY ACCOUNT, WHICH CAUSED MY GOOD PAYING RECORD TO GO BAD BECAUSE THE CHARGES MADE ME OVER THE LIMIT, AND I HAD OVER-THE-LIMIT FEES TO BOOT....AND I JUST GOT THE LAST FEE REFUNDED LAST WEEK......AND I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO BE UPSET ABOUT THE OUTCOME? EVERYTHING IS JUST FINE FOR A REFUND? DO I TALK LIKE I FELL OFF OF A PICKLE BOAT? LAWSUIT TIME. AS A MATTER OF FACT, WHOEVER HAS ONE STARTED WITH AOL, LET ME IN ON IT PLEASE. THEY NEED A CLASS ACTION...THEY NEED THE NEWS STATIONS CHECK THEM OUT. NEXT LETTER---TELL THE MARKETING CEO WHAT A LOUSY JOB HIS APPOINTED PERSON DID....I STILL NEED A REFUND CHECK FOR MY INCONVENIENCE, AND AN APOLOGY. NEXT LETTER AFTER THAT, THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE. WHERE AOL HEADQUARTERS IS, WHERE I LIVE, AND THE U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL. AND MAYBE SOME STOCK HOLDERS NEED TO SEE RIPOFF REPORT.
