They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Pele Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: I had the same problem with AOL...8 years ago! Obviously my decision to NEVER use them was a good one. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you've lost that money and you won't see it again. They can bleed you dry and you have NO RECOURSE. Do what I did, close out your checking account and open another one. I know it's a pain in the a*s, but if you don't AOHell will continue to charge you. I lost around 70.00 to AOL. After I closed out my checking account they had the audacity to send me a BILL! Yes, a bill for 76.00. I just laughed and threw it away and it never did show up on my credit reports. Consider this a valuable lesson learned. AOL isn't nicknamed AOHell for nothing and it's a VERY VERY bad idea to EVER give out your checking account info to ANYONE.
