Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I bought an i book that cost me $2000.+ in June of 2003. I purchased an i pod that cost me $300.+ and an Apple Care package for $350.00. I am a novice. I didn't know that the problems I was having with my power book G4 was unusual. I can't send e-mails and it's extremely slow. I have spent unsurmountable hours on the phone regarding these issues. Nothing has changed.

The i pod that I bought never fully charged and keeps freezing after 5 minutes- THEN!!! The battery empties out and it dies. I called them and told them that their battery is no good, that the i pod freezes and they told m e too bad.

I have spent so much money on these items that I could throw up. I feel that this is a crime and I wish there were attornies viewing this sight that cared enough to protect the consumer by organizing class action suites against these companies.

The Better Business Bureau is a fraud. They do nothing with their complaints. I am calling Michael Finney to give this sight a plug. Consumers need to demand and receive quality products and guarantees.

(see link below) is the only place I will EVER buy anything again. They back up there products-PERIOD. They don't give you attitude about your returns, they just don't. If you save your receipt for 10 years, you can return your item. That's a fact.

I just saw a whole news clip a few days agao regarding the i pod battery. It's made of lead and is no good. People were picketing Apple Computers in Silicon Valley over this issue and I am so glad that I happened to see that news clip. It prompted me to write this complaint knowing that there is strength in numbers.

This sight needs exposure. Everyone of you who reads this should contact a consumer advocate from your local news area. Make businesses be fair. Make them back up their products. It's our hard earned money and it shouldn't be held hostage.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome! You are probably some what associated with "e-value online services" and you are upset because it is probable that you are involved with a fraudulent business that was "called out" (for a lack of better terms). It is also evident that you are not professional enough to resolve this issue with the customer, but instead, write false claims against Apple computers so you can have a reason to rant against the Better Business Bureau and switch to another topic COMPLETELY different from what you were "complaining" about in the first place.

I have an ipod mini 4GB. It was running just fine when the battery died out. I took it to best buy and they said it was'nt the battery or something like that. I emailed apple with my ipod serial number and they shipped me a return box the day after the next. That was FAST. I packaged my ipod and shipped it back to apple. This was on december 12, 2005. They dragged their feet so I emailed them a nasty email telling them to send me back my ipod or else. Needless to say they emailed me back and apologized and told me a replacement is on its way. This was on monday 01-09-2006. I got my ipod this morning (01-11-2006). They sent me a brand new mini. So far so good. Apple is a great company but not perfect. Sometimes you gotta be persistent with some issues. Other than that my experience with them has been great. I have an emac and would never DREAM of going back to a windows based computer. Another thing, I'm not some starry-eyed steve jobs fanatic here.....I can be a dangerous consumer and have been known to scream like a banshee at employees on and off the phone. But I know quality when I see it. So far apple and their products have been 95% satisfactory in my opinion. BTW, I have a feeling your "link" is nothing but a competitor trying to get people to their site. Good try. People who know better, well, KNOW BETTER. To anyone that reads this...Stick with ipod for your music needs. YES, you have to send it to them to replace the battery however there are sites out there that will sell you the battery and with a little patience and preparation you can replace the battery yourself. Other than that my ipod has been dropped, sat on, picked up by the mouth of a domesticated dog, sweated on, shoved in a pants pocket, tossed around and yet it still works fine. Now that I have a NEW ipod mini (its probably refurbished since apple doe'snt make minis anymore) I'm glad to have a good product from an imperfect but great company.

IPOD WARRANTY IS A JOKE

I AM RESPONDING TO YOU BECAUSE, I AGREE THAT MORE CONSUMERS NEED TO BE AGGRESSIVE AND MAKE THESE COMPANIES MORE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR PRODUCTS. I HAD AN IPOD THAT WAS 3 MONTHS OLD RETURNED INTO THE WARRANTY DEPARTMENT AND OF COURSE THEY STATED BECAUSE THE IPOD APPEARD TO BE USED THE WARRANTY WAS VOID AND I COULD BUY A REPLACEMENT FOR $297 (THE UNIT WAS $299 ORIGINALLY). I DENIED THIS REPLACEMENT AND FILED A COMPLAINT WITH APPLE COMPUTERS. THIS WENT UNANSWERED. AFTER 2 MONTHS I SENT ANOTHER LETTER AND COPIES OF EMAILS WITH "WARRANTY DEPARTMENT" FEDEX AND STILL AFTER 1 MONTH NO RESPONSE. I DID A LITTLE CHECKING AROUND, AND ONE WOULD BE SUPRISED AT THE AMOUNT OF BROKEN AND UNREPAIRABLE IPODS THAT ARE BEING SOLD ON "EBAY". APPLE MARKETS THIS IPOD TO OUR CHILDREN WHEN THEY BREAK AND THEY ALL WILL (WHY BECAUSE THEY ARE BEING USED) APPLE BAITS YOU WITH A WARRANTY AND HOOKS YOU AFTER TELLING YOU IT IS VOID - AND FORCING YOU INTO REPLACING IT AND LOSING ALL THE MUSIC YOU BOUGHT FROM THEM (ITUNES). WHY BECAUSE WE LIVE FOR OUR CHILDREN AND WANT TO SEEM THEM HAPPY. WELL I HAVE AN UNHAPPY CHILD I WILL NOT BUY IPOD OR ANY OTHER APPLE PRODUCT. _CA LYCRA IS 20G AND IS $100 CHEAPER AND THEY STAND BY THEIR WARRANTY. WHAT DID I DO WITH MY $600 PAPERWEIGHT AND ACCESSORIES SOLD THEM ON EBAY FOR $225. OBVIOUSLY SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX THEM (PROBABLY APPLE).

#8Consumer Suggestion

I am an Apple user, and have been for years. I have a G4 PowerBook and an iPod. I have never had any problems with them. Which isn't what I could say about the many PC's that had come and gone before I switched. My Mac has never crashed, and my iPod is a little over a year old, never had any troubles. I would suggest if you're going to make such a large purchase for anything, get it straight from a store, and not ordering. Just a thought.
