My son graduated from 8th grade. With his money he received from graduation purchased a Apple Video I-pod $400.00. With that we also purchased a leather case to hold the I-pod in. This was his second I-pod he perviously owned a suffle and his parents have nanos. We not new to this product. We also purchased the apple warrenty for 59.00.

Day two owning the I-pod he was skateboarding and placed the Video I-pod in a mailbox in the leather case. When he went to to get it out the screen was messed up. We took it back to the store it was purchased at and was told go back to Apple (good thing we purchased the warrenty we were told)

We called Apple and had it sent in to them. They sent it back saying unrepairable screen got hit with a rock or something. We called and explained it was at all times in a protective leather case and being 2 days old can they work with us. $400.00 is alot of money at least to us and now we have no i-pod and this warrenty we just paid for. They told us the LCD screen is very delicate and the slightest thing could damage it. We explained thats why we purchased the case and our son didnt place it in pockets or in a backpack.

I called General manager and at My Apple and asked for some type of help to resolve this. Two days old and they didnt care about this customer. They told me go on the internet and find a company who repairs LCD screens that was my only options. Thanks Apple for caring about this customer.

So when purchasing any Apple I-pod be careful once they get your money that all they care about. Helping customers Good-Luck
