I have had the WORST experience with Appliance Warehouse since my last move in March!  I have rented my washer and dryer from you for two years now and called in advance of my new  move to have my old units picked up and to have the new GE units delivered at my new residence.  Not only did they call me the day of my pick up to cancel but they also no called/no showed to my delivery. This caused me to take an extra day off work to get the units delivered to my house (after over an hour of arguing with your reps about this situation who had little to no remorse about the situation). Then, not even a month after the unit was delivered (which we received the Whirpool,  not GE as originally set up)  my clothes have been completely destroyed.  I have filed a BBB complaint and was contacted by a  Michael Lane. After a week of filing a claim and sending all my clothes that were in the washer to your location, I was told my clothes are NOT damaged.  That is ridiculous! Not only do I suffer from extremely sensitive skin, but my three year old does as well. Before I could ask for a second opinion on the washer, they had already sent it out to someone else's house! I work for a warranty company that works on appliances and electronics. Prior to filing a BBB complaint, I had two certified Appliance technicians (who specialize in laundry appliances) look at some of my clothes. BOTH of them stated they were damaged by oil and that I should not wear any of my clothes whether it was evident that damage was there or not due to my extremely sensitive skin and my sons as well.  Now Im being told that maybe "something" was slipped into my load of laundry without my knowing. You should take responsibility for the clothes that were damaged!!! I am offended by the service I have received and I will be contacting my lawyer to pursue a resolution to my liking. I will also be spending my weekend finding email addresses to executives as well as sending complaints to all agencies that will accept complaints.  I refuse to be treated this way ESPECIALLY after being such a great customer and being willing to work with you on this issue! I have photographic proof that my clothes are damaged and I want this resolved! I now have to replace over $600 worth of clothes! Below is a link to one of the many pieces of clothes that were damaged!

Yet again the American Business gives into rediculous consumer demands. How are they liable for YOUR damaged clothing? THEY didnt wash your clothes. YOU as the consumer had the obligation to run a test load BEFORE major use. You claim to work at a warrenty company for appliances and yet you did not follow one of the first rules of new appliance ownership. So basically YOU scammed them out of money because YOU didnt even run a test load.

It sickens me to see this. I certainly hope you feel proud of the fact that YOU ruined YOUR clothes and SOMEONE else has to pay for your mistake. Your mother must be SO proud of your thievery. YOU are a scamming twit. One day though its going to backfire on you.

After my previous review I was contact by Sam G with Appliance Warehouse and he helped me with my situation. He was very friendly and sympathetic towards my specific situation. He was able to get me a check for the damages to my clothes as well as overnight the check so I would get the money in time for a trip we had planned.  I  am very pleased with the outcome and resolution that we were able to come to.  I am continuing to lease my washer and dryer with Appliance Warehouse and have confidence that if I have any future problems, they will be addressed accordingly.
