Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

A couple small valves were ordered to repair my refrigerator on 25 Jan 2015 from this company. I expected the valves to be delivered quickly like many other online merchants do, especially when I am paying for shipping.

A week passed and no valves. Contacted them online, talked with Shelby. Shelby said the valves were in their office and would ship on Monday, 2Feb 2015. Shelby said "there was a slight delay in getting the parts". I asked to cancel the order, Shelby said this was not allowed per their rules. I said I would refuse the order on delivery.

Later I checked their site and found no such terms in their stated ToS. Shelby lied.

Meanwhile, on 2 Feb, I went to the local Grainger store, bought the valves and repaired my refrigerator.

Fedex tracking showed the package picked up at almost midnite on 2 Feb 2015.

I contacted Fedex immediately by phone, spoke to Joann, and asked that the package be rerouted back to ApplianceZone. Joann agreed for Fedex.

Kept monitoring Fedex tracking, and the package showed still coming to me, with a delivery date of 12 Feb 2015. Contacted Fedex by email 2 times asking them to comply with the agreement with Joann. They refused and quit responding to emails.

Delivery date modified to 11 Feb. Then showed arrival in Atlanta on 4 Feb, with a turn over to USPS for delivery on 7 Feb 2015.

When the postman attempted delivery on 7 Feb, he stamped it refused at my request.

Fedex tracking shows it delivered and signed for which is obviously a lie.

Waited a week for the package to be returned, contacted ApplianceZone asking for a refund. Another week passed and no reply. Sent another email stating I would file a dispute in 24 hours. No reply.

Filed the Paypal dispute and they finally answered, wanted me to show proof I returned it with a tracking #, which is impossible because I never touched  it or accepted it. ApplianceZone says Fedex delivered, which of course has no delivery proof as none exists.

What bothers me more about this horrible experience is not the small financial loss, the lost groceries, or even the burden placed on  the family from not having home cooked meals.

What bothers me is that a company like ApplianceZone can commit all these crimes such as the obvious "terms lie by Shelby" which is a FTC rule violation and those others posted here. Then Fedex involves our postal service into the commission of a fraud and no government agencies such as the FTC and Postal Inspection are shutting these guys down.
