I have contacted the Better Business Bureau of Utah...my contact was Brittany Brown. I was told that since I could not produce other information that they are closing my claim...(of course, I was never asked to produce further substantiation.) They also told me that I am "unwilling" to meet on middle ground with Apx. Since Apx used frauduent business practices to procur this "agreement", I don't feel like I"M getting any ground and that I'M not the person that is responsible for meeting their service promises. I would appreciate all others with a problem with Apx contacting the Brittany Brown at the Utah, BBB and the Attorney General of Utah. At the time of my agreement date, I was told that the Apx Alarm representative had been sent by my builder to check on my existing alarm system. Since I had contacted the builder concerning my alarm system, I believed they were a legitimate company. I signed the ageement with the representative stating that this is a "service agreement". Of course, Apx will not acknowledge that this is a "service agreement". If I do not need the service any longer, I should be able to cancel the service. I spoke with a girl named, Nancy, at their supposed home office. She told me that they have every intention of having me honor this agreement regardless of whether I still live a the residence.
