Armor Mount Wall Mount Brackets Armor Mount did not sell the TV Wall Mount that was advertised by Amazon. Internet
I purchased the Hercules (by Opteka) HRM-100 super strong plasma and LCD TV dual-arm articulating wall mount for my 46" samsung LCD TV or I thought I did!!! I bought the wall mount from "TV Wall Brackets" via Amazon. Instead, I received both a billing invoice and a shipping ticket from a company called "Armor Mount" which described the unit, word for word has the Hercules unit HRM-100. Not understanding the reason for the two different company names, I called Armor Mount and found out that the mount had already shipped and was not the Hercules Mount as advertised.. The wall mount was a "Armor Mount" brand unit. I was also told that the company was no longer called "TV Wall Brackets" but was called "Armor Mount". I was told that the wall mount purchased was the same exact wall mount as the "Hercules Mount (by opteka)". I then told the Service Rep, that I was upset because the product I bought was not the same unit as the one being advertised, sold and shipped. I did alot of research with regards to the Hercules Mount and did NOT research the Armor Mount unit. The rep told me that Armor Mount has been trying to get the problem corrected by Amazon, but was not having any luck in getting the problem resolved. Armor Mount told me if I was not satisfied with their wall mount, I can return it. But I asked at who's cost and time? I told Armor Mount I do not like having to take a product that I did not buy or to go through this ordeal. To me this is False Advertizing and I'm going to hold Amazon responsibile for this blunder. Eventhough, I have not received shippment of the unit to review it, I have rated the unit low on the scale because of the False Advertisment and the concern of making this purchase. I posted the review to let other consumers know of the problem.
