On 1/12/2010 I received a phone call that I allowed to go to my answer machine. On my answering machine a woman left a message. This woman only referred herself as, "Kim," rudely demanded that I call her back. She said, "You need to call me back now." She sounded very angry and had a raised voice when she demanded that I call her back. She left the following contact information:

File number: 19096084

Her extension: 1248

When I called her back, I asked her why she had left such a rude message on my answering machine? This question was again met with rudeness. She (in a raised voice) told me that she could not discuss someone else's case. I gave her the case number (file number above). She demanded that I give her my date of birth or last 4 digits of my social security number. I refused. I told her that she hadn't even identified where she was calling from. She again, in a rude manner stated, "I cannot discuss someone else's case with you." I believe she demanded my personal information again. I gave her my date of birth. She said, "I have the wrong number." I angrily called her a b**** and hung up.

I called the number back again, and spoke to Julia, an operator. I then found out that this company's name is ARS National. I asked her what type of company this was. She did not answer. She asked me if this was in regards to a phone message about a claim. I said, ARS is a collection agency and I want your address and a supervisor's name. She gave me the following information:

960 S. Andreasen Dr.

Suite B

Escondido, CA 92029

Supervisor: Toby (notice not a full name)

She checked the file number to ensure that my number had been removed from the file. She read my number back to me, but said it was deleted. After the maltreatment and non-representation (requested by most state laws that demands a collection agency to disclose who they are and that they are attempting to collect a debt) I am not convinced that my number has been deleted and removed from their files.

I would like this woman, Kim and her supervisor to officially and formally apologize to me and I would like my personal information expunged from their records.
