Art Platform NYC Juliette Townsend Art Platform NYC and Juliette Townsend the perfect ART SCAM New York New York
I joined Art Platform NYC last November, 2015. I signed a contract for their services which included a feature in a hard-back book, expected to be launched at the New York Art Fairs month 2016 and a membership for a half year on their online platform.
After an enthusiastic approach by Juliette Townsend and many explicits emails trying to convinced me, I accepted and payed for those services. After that, the communication suddenly slow down to a point that it was difficult to reach her.
Without any announcement she change the "launch" of the book in April and with lie and excuses tried to convinced me that she has sent me the explanation mail wich I never received. Apart from putting me on their platform, nothing else, wich was agreed in the contract, ever happened.
This experience leat me to believe that this is all a big scam. Many artists from the platform have the same or worse experience than mine.
I am fully aware that the world of art is sometimes difficult to understand and that for the artists it is sometimes difficult to take the rigth choices but this one easily surpassed all bad choices I ever took.
