Artleader1 AKA Tanya Zarate Ebay's worst seller! Unprofessional, immature scammer! ripoff Van Nuys California
Artleader1 is a seller on ebay and one of the worst, at that. She sells horrible copies of other artists' work. I bid on a Salvador Dali painting for a dear friend for x-mas. It didn't arrive in time, in fact it took nearly 2 months to receive.
When it did come, it was total crap. The paint was smeared and there was a large yellow/orange blob on it. The painting was packaged still WET! It was just horrible!
She claims they're hand painted so they're subject to minor variation, words I don't think she knows the meaning of. I contacted her and she said she'd give me a partial refund, minus a restocking fee, which is just another way this con artist makes money. So I am supposed to pay to ship the painting back to her, pay her a restocking fee and get back less than half my money!
So I left her negative feedback and she tries to harass and black mail me into retracting it! She admits she'll lie if I don't retract it. I refuse! She deserved it!
But of course now it's too late for me to file a complaint because the shipping took so long and I tried to work it out with this horribly unreasonable individual. I've written to ebay customer service, but i haven't heard back yet. I've also contacted them about her circumventing ebay fees, by listing her items at a penny, only to charge excessive shipping and handling fees.
Buyer beware! Read those feedback scores, they're there for a reason! Avoid people who start items really low and charge really high s & h.
