ASAP TRAVEL AND CELEBRITY PRODUCTIONS Bogus vacation offers via fax. If it looks too good to be true, it is. Jacksonville,, Florida
We received a fax from ASAP Travel stating we could go to Dominican Republic for $149.98 each. When we called the told us it was 4-5 star resorts and all airlines was included. Additional fees with taxes were $125-$175 per person. They take only a check so get your money right away and no credit card so you have no recourse against them. Tthey took our money on 7/15 Then you are supposed to get your documents in 15 days. We never got them and kept calling them and they said they were in the mail and 30 days later we had to call them and they faxed us documents which were the wrong ones.
Then they faxed new ones that are basically unreadable but what you could read said there were additional fees airline taxes, room taxes, transfers that were estimated at $275-$350 per person, not $125-$175 and the hotels were 3-5 star not 4-5 as promised initially. They cannot tell you what the fees will be and want now another $49 per person and I would not know what this vacation will cost me.Also we have to send money to another company somewhere it Virginia it looks like but cannot read it. I have called for clarification and surprise, no return call. I have asked them for a refund, good luck. I will go to the bureau of consumer frauds and the attorney general and news stations and consumer affairs if I don't get a refund.
