this company is just plan retard, very bad service, unprofessional, everything is just bad about this company. The reason for me to cancel my security is because I have closed my business but My contract with ASG still have 4 years. Situation like this I do believe that the cancellation should not be a problem and should not have termination fee.
Reason I got there service was because I went with a price because it was saving me couple of dollar but I think after 6-8 months they send me a letter that they will be increasing my monthly bill by $5, the sales rep lower the price to beat the competition so I would not get the other service. but now they increase there price more then what I was going to pay there competition, and the sad part is that it is perfectly okay for them to do that because it is included in there contract. (doesn't government have to prove this kind of restriction). my cancellation fee is the renaming 4 years which is over $1000 but ASG offered me a settlement for $700 right after she told me the $1000 fee. With out me even complaining about the fee, it just sounded so ridiculous to me.
I got a Letter from them, about registering my account online, they have there web address as www.myasg.com and also myasg.com. isn't the same thing? one of these links will give you a warning for a non secure site and it is a really non secure.
I called the ASG and ask them why is this a issue, first of, the girl did not wanted to check the ASG.COM at all, since the lady did not know anything she started being very stupid and when I asked for a manager no one was available. she put WWW.MYASG.COM and it was fine, but then she refuse to put ASG.COM I just had to begggggg her to make sure she sees the problem, and then she did and it shows the same error to her. I asked her to please let some one know about this because there is no way I will make any kind of an acount online at asg.com or www.asg.com.
A security company does not have a secure website it just does not add up for me.
there are two way out of this "pay them" everything is okey and they won and got there free money after all.
or "not pay them" which will effect your credit on your business or personal, harassing calls from settlement department and much more.
I think I will choose neither, because I will pay them for their service every month and they will be seeing my alarm system going off every day twice. they will call the # they have in file and the last one they will reach me and I will tell them its okay I will check it my self.
