Aspire Visa REPORTING NEGATIVE INFO ON CREDIT THAT IS NOT TRUE Atlanta Georgia
Alert about Aspire Visa. Please whoever has a Aspire Visa, check your credit report. We paid off the balance on the card 3/2004 and closed the account. We are now trying to get approved for a loan and have til August 13th to be approved for our loan.
Aspire has reported that for the months of 6/2004 and 7/2004, we were 30 days late in payments. Now tell me how that is possible when the account is closed and paid in full?
We called them to correct this and they were suppose to fax over a letter stating this was a mistake and that they had reported all of this to the 3 credit bureaus. Well they faxed over a letter all right. That we were late in 9/2002.
Please make a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Just call 1-202-326-2696. If enough people complain about this company, we can get a class action against them.
Because of them we may lose the house we wanted to buy, which leaves us and 4 kids out of a place to live. Also, I was told to report this to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection for my state.
