I receive my card they wanted a 20.00 processing fee. I paid that and now i can't use it even thou they said i could use it by the 18th of this month. I have called but i can't get a human person to talk to. It's all a recorded message. I want to cancel my card but i can't.

I just received a bill for 185.50 and i haven't even used the card. What should i do? I want to send the card back to them and tell them to cancel the card.

I got an Aspire Visa card in January. I knew about $180.00 or so immediate charge that would occur on the account b/f i got the card, so i wasn't suprised when i appeared on my first sttm. I didn't know about the $20 charge to activate it though! When i got the card, i tried to use it at a store, but was embarressed when it was declined! I called cust serv, and was told i had to wait 10 days b/f i could even use the card...why, i don't know! they already had my $! thankfully, i haven't had any of the other horror stories I've read on this site...not yet anyway. I think Aspire visa is not a bad card to get if you're trying to rebuild your credit. Please...before anyone gets this card, carefully read over the terms and make sure you know what you're getting into. luckly, i haven't had any problems getting my pmts posted on time, and i haven't had any probs w/my bank acct, and i've done automatic draft quite a few times.

I'm afraid I have been suckered into this fraduently credit card Aspire Visa. I've read your report listed below and how did you fight back to this company ?? - I too have paid the $20.00 payment to activate the card and now I'm excepting a bill for the exact same charges as you have stated below. I'm so horrified that they will attack my bank acct now? What did you do? I've contacted by bank the next day (paid the $20.00 on Saturday afteroon) then come Monday AM - went to the bank in person and reported the fraud cc company - now I went to check my online banking acct - they are smart - they didn't file their name as ASPIRE, they listed themselves as a "Phone Payment Card" as a transaction that hit my acct. I'm calling my bank again tomorrow - I clearly know they are taken me for a ride now when they can't even file their own company's name?? - How do we fight back for this ??? I need to help, I don't wanna get this any further any what it has already gotten to be. I was soooo sick to my stomach after reading the horrible stories about this company - thinking I was going to better my self - now!! What a Mess!!
