associated estates realty corporation harassment & intimidation due to slip and fall accident richmond heights Ohio
I fell at Oaks at Hampton a complex that Associated Estates ownes.
I filed an accident report and insurance claim and i am still waiting for my medical bills and lost wages to be paid.
Corporate refuesed to renew lease after almost three years with no lates or problems.
I was instructed to move immidiately, in response to my slip and fall. (that was a very expensive move)
Oaks at Hampton refused to repair/replace appliances until i hired an attorney and went to court or follow the lease agreement after my claim was filed with Crawford Ins.
Since the slip and fall and land lord tenant issue the following happen:
Snow plow hit my, car, some type of defolage was poured on my plants-no leaves just stems standing and the front door leaked water inside for a year, maintainance coming in without permission, malfunctioning appliances (rust in the refrigerator and a defective burner on the stove and the microwave light would go on an off and make funny noises), turned my hot water off and my lights which created a power surge and burned out my phone charger and other small appliances, created a trip hazzarad by placing cement blocks in front of my unit for no reason,corporate call my union job so much i had to put in for a transfer twice i finally had enough when a supervisor told me where i could put my purse! so i quite! call my doctor to have her release me early after a major operation and sent home for 4 months living off my savings until it was gone, called my bank, credit union, job and all my listed creditors (remember they got this from the application) and now i have a real mess!
Oaks at Hamption (my former place of residence only wants to keep up the numbers at all costs, no regard for repairs or safety, not very organized, a dysfunctional staff who refused to take my last payment there by created a deficient so they could evict me with no reason except their attorny spoke with the judge to work out a deal then still refused to take my payment why!!!! i wanted to pay two payments sine july and they refused to take it! the real reason is to make it difficult for me the purchase a home or rent another unit becuase they are upset that my former attorney submitted a lawsuit or settlement letter for an outrageous amount of money and he declined their offer!
Oaks is ridiculous! just look at all the bad referrals on apartmentratings.com and other web sites.
I now have a metal plate holding my arm togeter, i have unpaid medical bills, lost wages, scaring, legal fees, and poor quality of life the result of Associated Estates, Oaks and Hampton, and Crawford Insurance (their liability insurance company who refuse to offer a settlement or pay my medical bills or lost wages)
My life in on hold!! I am tired of waiting! That's why i wrote this to draw attention to this dysfunctional organization!
