Astar Travel ripoff travels company that missuse the good heartedness of the trusting heart by making me believe ive won a travel in the fuss and exitement i give them my creditcard number address etc only to find out later that ive been ripped off Atlanta Georgia
A fine thursday afternoon, I get a call,with an over excited voice, from america, saying, that Ive won a travel to Florida.
wOW! was my first thought, really me. Is it true. how lucky can one be. Then I get tranfered to another person, telling more detailed, how when and where. That I would get travel to Florida, witch would include a cruise to the bahamas, free hotel, a car I could drive, the opertunaty to bring 3 friends etc. etc. They would only need some information, my adress, my credit card number, so they could send me the tickets. This is where I started to get suspisious. Why would they need my credit card number, if I had won??? Was it not for free?? tHE respond was that I ve would only have to pay for the shipment of the package, a small sum 998 dollars. WHAT. To me that is a lot of money. And I told them I dont have that kinda money on my account. Oh, dont worry they. then I was tranfered to another person ensuring me that it was okay, etc, etc, not to worry, that i had won. bla, bla, u get the picture.
And all the time I was telling myself this is a ripof, dont do it. just hang up the phone and call to block the visa, right now. But still, I let myself get convinced by them, it was like i was caught in some bad concious or somthing. They even said to me, that I could apollogise later for not feeling excited by the offer they where giving me. TOTAL MISSUSE OF TRUST, AND HONESTY. GOD I FEEL SO SMALL AND STUPID, WHY DIDNT I JUST HANG UP. But no, the good in me, the child, the naiv girl, was telling me to accept this wounderful gift from these kind people, and not be so distrustful. But now I KNOW FOR SURE, never to trust anybody but my own intuition, that was telling me all the time, dont do it, dont do it.
I think though in these times of war an distrust in the world, people really need to believe in the good, and we need to be able to trust each other, and companies like ASTAR Travel, is making that very difficult.
