ATB FINANCIAL AND LOTTO SERVICES RIPOFF KINGSTON Ontario
I recevied this letter in the mail with a check for $3800.00. The letter stated that I won 275,000.00, and the check was to cover fees for $2880.00.I was to call Kelvin Polosky to activate my claim before I tried to go to the bank. That sound very fishy to me, and I did not believe it. I called the number given which is 1-647-868-0247. This black guy answers the phone then tries to change his voice.
I knew for sure that something was wrong.He ask me for the Reference No: on the letter then told me to go and cash the check. Then I was to call he back, so I can pay him the 2880.00 fee, LOL.
I just smiled, I told him that I cannot get to the bank until next week. He said, "No, NO, you only have one week to claim the money." which the letter did not stated at all. I became very interested, so I took it to my bank to see if the check would clear.
Of course not, the routing on the so called offical check was wrong, and I also called ATB Financial, and an agent informed me the it was fraud because they have no dealings with the lotterys, and they nothing to do with American Banks.
I also tried calling the Washington Mutual Bank, but they would disclosed any info. I wanted to tell Mr. Polosky about hisself, but I did not get an answer. I did found out that it was a cellphone, and he said his name was Jim Balls.AJust what can he be getting out of this?
