atlantic marcite neil rubin Horrible pool company - Beware fort lauderdale, Florida
We contracted a pool with Atlantic Marcite in May 2012. By October, nothing had been done. After many, many phone calls, the company came to remove the tiles from the spa only, but did not touch the pool at all. Once the spa was stripped, the contract began to change, and it was getting ridiculous even listening to the Neil and Michael and all of there excuses. Michael bragged about how wonderful they are, and since they are so good and people are so happy with them, that they dont even require payment until the job is done. That was the first of many lies.
When Neil began pressuring us for money and nothing was done for 4 months we decided to look deeper into this company's reputation and found many claims with the BBB and lots of unhappy customers on line. this made us very nervous to give them any money. Our original contract was $1300. to strip the pool and spa, so we offered them half of this amount, thinking this was more than fair since the pool is 4 times the size of the spa, and they only did the spa.
Needless to day, He put a lien on our house, and sued us for $1,800...since we live out of the country we didn't bother to defend....the money wasn't enough to take our time and energy. I know this is his slimy tactic, and I hope that anybody who is looking for a pool reno or install Runs for the Hills before putting any of your hard earned money in Rubins hands.
In the end, we hired a pool company with good reports and no BBB complaints, and our pool was completed in 4 weeks. I am very sceptical that the good reports are truely customers, and not put up by the owners of Atlantic Marcite

Mr Malasch wealthy Canadian believes he could get expensive renovations for no deposit until work is completed and approved by him. Note lives in Canada . we started work and completed $2000 worth of contract. Contract price is $21000.00.
We stopped and waited for deposit .. He then threw us off property. Put lien on property and took him to court . He received court order to appear but he believes he is to powerful for our judicial system . Did not show up in court and judge ruled for us. He threatened to use his power and Internet to rune us. we need to stand up to these people and not think they are above the law. anybody who wants to see final judgement or his house please let me know thanks !!!! we all have equal right ( rich or poor )
