Atlas Communications gets so many complaints, it's not even funny (which would be why they're going out of business, I suppose). Unfortunately, if you do have a third party installer coming out to install your Dish Network system, it really is their fault, not Dish Network's. Dish is willing to send one of their own technicians out, but as you said, it does cost more to have them come out and fix the mess another installer left behind. I can't even figure out why they would have drilled a hole in your roof in the first place.

I used to work for Atlas Communications as a technician and it was bad from day one. They hooked me in with a incentive system that promised a lot of money for a certain number of installs within a certain period of time. Once I quit the job it took me three weeks to track down my money and finally I got it however; all of the other technicians' checks have bounced and we are thinking about suing them. It was about $5000 worth and I kinda need it for college... I heard rumors about the owners getting sued for 17 mil the previous summer and I blew it off because the first few checks were good. Now I really need the money but oh well they're going out of business how convienient for them... It really was a sorry excuse for a company...
