Atlas Contractor Supply - West Builders Supply - Cal Pacific Products Obscene Phonecalls, Pushy Sales Of Bulk First Aid Kits Tempe Arizona
A couple of months ago we started recieving phone calls from these guys trying to sell us First Aid kits. When I first answered the phone the individual said "It's been a while since we spoke man,how you been?". This was odd because I am the only person that answers the phone at my company and did not remember talking to anybody from "Atlas Contractor Supply". I listened to what he had to say and after about a 30 seconds of hearing what this guy was trying to sell (first aid kits),I said " No thanks man, thanks for calling but we are not interested...". The guy wouldn't let me hang up and said he "had 2 boxes of them with my name on it and that I shouldn't want OSHA to shut my job down". Are you kidding me? Why would I order First aid kits from a supplier. What kind of contractor would I be if I did not already have first aid kits. I finally got off the phone with this guy and I have recieved at least 1 phone call a week since. Sounds like the same guy with the same sales pitch. The person acts like they talked with you before and that you know them. Each time I politely tell them that I am not interested and hang up. This last call , however, I cut the guy off and said "Look man, you people keep calling here and I do not need whatever it is you are selling. We already have a supplier for whatever we need. Please remove my phone number from your database." The gentleman became irate and cursed many racial profanities. When I googled this company, I was amazed of how many people they are doing this same thing to! These guys need to be stopped. I never bought anything from them. From the beginning it looked like a scam. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
