My name is Brad and like the person who filed this ripoff report against Atlas Towing, I too was towed from this apartment complex. People call this place the " ghetto" I was just visiting and was not more that 15 minutes into my visit when Someone told me my car had been towed. I'm a law student at UTSA. I am filing a law suit against this complex and so should this disabled Veteran, also the Texas Attorney General's Office will accept your complaint. They are already familier with your case. Also the signs that are now installed are paid for by the towing company, they have their company logo and Phone number on them. Keep that in mind when you file your complaint.

Being a veteran, you know it should have been done BEFORE he left, but he can still do it and you can get the car. Next, don't park where you shouldn't. Why weren't you displaying a handicap parking placard and ID? A purple- heart plate doesn't meet any legal requirement, or does it? I'm surprised you weren't maced and arrested for assault when you confronted the truck driver. "People from Mexico" aren't exempt from obeying US laws and regulations. They should have learned how to park legally before getting their license, just like everyone else. Texas isn't Mexico, and if they easily gave up their cars it was for a reason. Not registered and insured, perhaps? The police "aren't "helping" because they know the towers are in the right.
