Were you also scammed by the Ethan Sturgis Day, Leslie Burk, and Ray Collins trio?

I originally met Ethan Day and his drinking buddy, Ray Collins, in Malibu. I was sold the idea of a sea container home built for a fraction of what a traditional home would cost. They have consistently over promised and under delivered, only to then blame the consumer for things not getting done.

Les, we see you're not denying the above public records verifying your felony fraud conviction or Ethan Day’s 8 million dollar restitution order.

As far as arbitrating goes anyone expecting a biased outcome when dealing with criminals like the two of you would never arbitrate through a group of unpaid volunteers.

While your rant is an effort to deflect from the subject of this report nothing can dispute the facts.

It is sad when a design customer, yes... design, not a home built customer is willing to make up a bunch of negative press to intentionally harm and deface a company is not only fraudulent but downright despicable. So, let's start at the beginning... Here is the link to the El Paso BBB website where there has been much due diligence over the years to keep our company in good standing as an "Accredited" business within our community: https://www.bbb.org/elpaso/business-reviews/modular-homes/atomic-container-homes-in-el-paso-tx-99143060  This is really as far as anyone needs to look to know that what we are saying is true. We have an "A" rating. This does not mean we have not had our scratches, on the contrary. ACHI, or Atomic Container Homes is a Delaware Corporation and is owned by less than 10% by the individuals listed in the fraudulent report that we are rebutting today. This stands for everything. Does anyone have an idea what it takes to an A rating with your local BBB? It means we do go to arbitration if a problem arises. Unfortunately  ROBERT ABASOLO located at 1-713-504-0221 and [email protected] is the kind of person that would rather slander than arbitrate his problems with ACHI and not sign his name to his report... WHY? Well when you engage a company to design you a house and an engineering firm is involved along with a bunch of architects you have some pretty big costs... Thousands of dollars of costs. Robert was moving from rural Texas into LA where property values are about 10X what he was used to in Texas. I could dismiss this by saying that is not our problem but that would only cheapen this report and not add the credibility in trying to set an explanation of what has gone wrong here. If you are reviewing this for the first time, Read the retraction he wrote on the last report he posted here and then consider heavily if what he wrote the second time really is anything more than a poor soul who is lashing out and trying to do harm or someone who would have been willing to go to arbitration to solve a real problem. Arbitration was not for him because he knew he would loose. This is a very harsh statement but this all boils down to after monies were paid in real costs to design his house he had the realization that what he wanted was not something that he could afford. Where he was used to 35K for a lot in Texas, moving into the LA region he was getting listings that were 350K that were in the worst part of town and downright dangerous to live in. I wish we could rewind the clock and had the chance to explain with his budget that nothing was going to work for him and his family at this time. That he was going to need to lease for a little while longer as he continued to fix his credit, saved more money and had some patience to take more time in his own research. But here we are today having to do a second rebuttal to the same guy that wrote the last derogatory statement on RIPP-OFF Report where I am sure we will not get a retraction. When he learned that it was going to cost over 10K just to get the initial statement off of here, well we can all do the math. Back to ACHI, our SEC stuff and his fancy claims. Anyone can take partial truths and twist them to serve their own purposes. Robert is a prime example of this tactic. We have hundreds of clients and this is the only guy who has ever written and slandered us here on this site. Hmmmm? Well for us and all of our potential customers this is an unfortunate trail of events and there is only one way to deal with it.... Communication. Nobody buys from us without visiting our facilities, meeting us face to face and seeing for themselves if we form a good match for what they want to do. ACHI is not for everyone and not everyone has the patience to build a custom home from scratch. We only do a portion of it, the customer is engaged and it is a team effort. If there is no team, well then there is way that everyone is going to win and we are not interested in those kinds of relationships.
