I had U-verse internet and was on Auto-Pay.  After 3 years of service with them I decided to go to another provider.  I cancelled my services 4 days prior to the end of my billing cycle.  I was shocked to find that they put in the cancellation order for the day after the billing cycle ended, therefore, generating another bill and TAKING ANOTHER PAYMENT after the services were supposed to be cancelled.  After hours of back and forth they agreed to give me a refund within 3-5 business days.  NOW they are saying that I HAVE TO WAIT till the end of the billing cycle (that I should not have been charged for) to get my money back.  Something that is unacceptable since they took my money in 1 day and an EFT transfer only takes 3-5 business days.  They know they are wrong but they refuse to make it right on a timely manner.
