Go online to Bexar County Court Records, type in Matthew Obermeier and my name, phone #, and email address is on the lawsuit.  You may have to go the the new courthouse in the basement and look at the file, or asked the district clerks if you can look at the file / case after you look up the case # online.  I can't give it to you here. or I would.  Or you can send a rebuttal w/ your info.  I have more info for you.....

I belief very word you posted.  Please, file a Texas State Bar complaint to have Matthew Obermeier disbarred and or discliplined so he nor his firm can hurt anyother "clients" or conspire to commit fraud on the courts.  Please, give me your case #, so I can contact you....and help you file the complaint.  Do you remember who the Judge was in your case?  Bet the judge had a conflict of interest w/ Obermeier and or his firm.  Making your case moot...and damages awarded to you for the fraud.  I will help you! 

Hello! I read your review about the incompetence of "atty" Matthew Obermeier. If you're interested, there is another legal malpractice suit filed against Obermeier. You might want to go online to BEXAR COUNTY COURT RECORDS and look it up and contact the lady who filed the suit....maybe be a witness or a class action.

BEWARE! This is to let everyone know ....On 9/9/2018 at a little past 11am, Obemeier cut infront of all the polite people at the Bexar County Courthouse STAFF ATTY'S OFFICE (who is for Pro se litigants...not attys), to have a STAFF ATTORNEY (?) review a less than 2 page paper.  ?  The STAFF ATTY told him it would be less than 10 mininutes to review it.  ??  A less than two page filing?? SHOWS MATTHEW OBERMEIER, who has been "practicing law" for years...and had 2 legal malpractice lawsuits against him, and others pending....in my opinion, does not know what he's doing, does not know the law, nor does he have any manners...that he would have to have a STAFF ATTY..who most are barely out of law school, St. Mary's at that, to review his less than 2 page "brief" for accuracy AND HE CUT IN FRONT OF PEOPLE WHO HAD BEEN WANTING OVER 30 MINUTES...DISGUSTING!  The only reason he even had the STAFF ATTYs at the Bexar County Courthouse review his 2 page "brief" lol....lol less than 2 pages, lol.....is bc he has a serious legal malpractice lawsuit against him, and others pending. 

Negligently, he refused to write a brief supporting my absolute innocence, refused to prepare for trial, told me it was bc he "really, really liked thier atty" and he told me he had been with the opposing atty, PAULA BEASLEY FROM DALLAS, the night before trial.  Ewww. DISGUSTING! THEN HE LIED TO THE COURTS!! PAULA BEASLEY COMMITTED EVERY TYPE OF PERJURY ON THE BOOKS...ACCORDING TO AN INVESTIGATOR and MATTHEW OBERMEIER WAS PART OF THE FRAUD ON THE COURTS. DISGUSTING! 

BTW, THERE WAS ANOTHER REBUTTAL ABOUT MATTHEW OBERMEIER THAT WAS REMOVED FROM RIPP OFF REPORT.  It was about a divorce case MATTHEW OBERMEIER messed up by not preparing for it at all, and doing as little as possible. What happen to the rebuttal.  Did OBERMEIER have it removed? Did OBERMEIER write it...since if was poorly written.  

The one star reviews that MATTHEW OBERMEIER had and removed (DTPA) ....and I reported him for being deceptive...he falsy put a 1 star review on and stupidly (in my opinion) responded that he "hired a paralegal is is working after hours"...LOL.  Really?  and he still going to the STAFF ATTY?  REALLY? HE'S A VERY SAD JOKE..IN MY OPINION.  The review was written just like the rebuttal. hmmm....

I'm a senior citizen, who has helped many, many people of all nationalities, socio economical backgrounds w/ ove 36 non-profits....AND MATTHEW OBERMEIER ABBUSED ME, BULLIED ME, THREATENED ME, HARASSED ME, AND MOCKED ME....AND MADE ME HOMELESS DUE TO HIS NEGLIGENCE, AND DISGUSTING LACK OF MORALS (MY OPINION). 

There was one other rebuttal about how "Atty" Obermeier ruined his case by doing as little as possible, and then laughing about it.  From the review, the case was a divorce....which matt obermeier was negligent.  

I noticed the same person posted a 1 star review about it on either AVVO or Yelp.  Obermeier responded...and kept the one star review...AFTER I POSTED THIS REVIEW AND ANOTHER ON YELP SAYING HE WOULD BE TURNED IN TO THE FTC FOR DPTA...THEN HE POSTED THE ONE STAR W/ A LYING REVIEW.

IN MY OPINION, THERE IS SOMETHING MENTALLY NOT RIGHT WITH THIS GUY!!  Please, do your research about Obermeier before hiring him or his firm.  I read where one of his partners is the same as Obermeier...spends more time picking our fancy outfits than prepairing for your case.  IN MY OPINION, they should be disbarred.  If you have been hurt by Obermeier or his firm....file a greivence with the TX State Bar.  Make sure you look up all the Disciplinary Rules for ABA as well.  I will be filing a grievence....and a You Tube video about him and Atty Paula Beasley and the corrupt "Judges"....

Funny you mentioned his "socks"....Obermeier told me in court, that "IF" he mentioned to the Judge (David J. Rodriguez) that the Plaintiffs, Volunteers of America TX, Inc and their Atty Paula Beasley violated (not his word....he used the "F" word) their own lease by not giving me 30 days to vacate (they gave me 2 days, not to mention they had violated numerous other clauses in the lease and TX Landlord Tenant Laws Chapter 92...which I had all their violations listed as well as the evidence of out / out PERJURY, every type on the books...according to an Criminal Investigator) ..."IF" he just mentioned to JUDGE DAVID J. RODRIGUEZ about thier violation of the lease, I WOULD HAVE TO PAY HIM ANOTHER $300 IN CASH BEFORE LEAVING THE COURTROOM!??  I asked him, "First, what do you mean 'IF', and $300?? What do you mean, I've already paid you! what do you want, a new pair of socks?"  I also told him, if should've spent as much time on my case as he did to get dressed or shop for his clothes!! He's disgusting!! He did mention it to the "Judge" who didn't even respond, and told the "attys" to come into his office....not chamber, but office.  They were in there for about 15-20 minutes, came out laughing.  It was a total joke!!  I could tell you other things he said / did that are the most disgusting ever, and illegal.  BTW, there was a 1 star review about one of his partners that mentioned how good he dressed as well.  Birds of a feather.  

Yes, there is a Legal Malpractice lawsuit against him and his firm.  I spoke with the Atty....and read his "brief"...not impressed, except for the fact he filed it..I wonder though.  I'm not sure about this atty either.  I even offered to be a witness as to Obermeier's negligence, he didn't care about that.  He's not really a "legal malpractice" atty, and the case appeared to be about immigration, which the courts here in SA will be much more interested in.   The suit involves yet another incompetent law firm along with Obermeier and his firm.  IMO, the SA courts, judges, attys and even court reporters are the most corrupt I've ever seen.  Not only did the Plaintiffs and their atty and Obermeier commit perjury, so did JUDGE KAREN CROUCH which I taped and then she refused to give me my transcripts! Judge David Rodriguezs' court reporter also lied and did not transcribe what was actually said in court.  When I asked her about it, she said, "Well, I did the best I could with my notes."  Whaat?  I saw online just last week, a story about how corrupt this city is...the name of the site, is CASTROGATE.  

MATT OBERMEIERS NEGLIGENCE HAS COST ME OVER $45K AND MORE EVERYDAY!  Not to mention all the stress.

Maybe a class action, whcih would get more attys attention.  Another atty told me about another client of Obermeiers who lost his case bc of Obermeiers negligence. I'm sure there are many others.  I don't trust the TX State Bar will do anything.  I filed on the Plaintiffs atty Paula Beasley, due to her orchestrating the whole case on perjury....and I even had official City evidence and how she violated the laws, not me.  The State Bar wrote back and said, "Perjury was not against their discplinary rules."  Really?  Sad. 

I’m concerned reading this posting as now my past concerns regarding how our no fail case was handled and lost seems completely reasonable now. Almost two years of legal battles with a seller of a home that made me extremely sick almost immediately after moving in. Come to find out only days later it was covered in black mold. A roof that was advertised new but failed weeks after we moved in. Plumbing lines that went right into the dirt under the house. Guest house built without structural beams in place. Mold in the a/c unit, mold under the carpets, mold in the walls, electric outlets that were covered in Sheetrock but had open wires behind it shocking the workers as the removed the wall. An inspector who didn’t catch most of what was here then got out of the case thanks to a nice little clause at the bottom of his contract. The only person who settled was our agent, who agreed these people screwed us. We had 3 specialists come out, 1 even testified in our favor.. We had the contractor (un-licensed which we never knew until he admitted it on the stand) testify on our behalf. We had a binder that I PERSONALLY gathered the information for that was at least 5” thick with recipes, past workers who proved the previous residents knew of issues but signed off on repairing them. We had a contract that had been changed twice without our knowledge. When we finally got a court date it was a complete joke. I could have done a better job at going after them than he did.

Everything that was important and relavent wasnt mentioned. Most of the information I personally gathered wasn’t submitted to trial. In the end the jury said they felt we didn’t supply enough evidence. When we asked Obermeier about this his response was ”I didn’t want to overwhelm the jury”. WHAT!?!?! Isn’t that the job of a good attorney? To bring into court every little stinking piece of information that’s available to therefore leave no doubt in anyone’s mind what happened. He, IMO, didn’t even try. A lot of laughing. A lot of coddling. A lot of fluff. And always very proud of his fancycolorful socks. Ugh! In the end we not only lost the case but ended up paying the other persons Attornys fees also after asking CONTINUALLY would this happen if we go this far? Would we ever be responsible to pay their bills, he said absolutely not. Funny but our bank account went down a good $35,000 after the loss and it all went to him and the other attorney. So the only true winner was him. What we were told wouldn’t ever happen absolutely happened!

In a two year period of time I spent countless hours on the phone, in email correspondence, etc... trying to do everything I could to show him all we had. Countless attorneys have since said this may not have been an open and shut case but this surely should never have been our complete 100% responsibility. If he would have understood the ramifications of this type of real estate issue then we would have been fine. In the end our attorneys fees were over $35k, and to make our home livable and also sellable again we put over $175,000 in remodeling and $34,000 for mold remediation. All out of our retirement after 26 years in service and 5 tours of duty. Since the day we lost the only time he even bothered to reach out was to ask for the check for the other party. Not even a holiday card. One would think that after dropping $35k one could send a $5 holiday card like most businesses. In hindsight we chose the wrong guy and not a day goes by that I don’t think about it. I stumbled across this posting and it’s only dated last month, which made the hair on my neck stand up!

So I myself did a little digging and indeed it’s all true and a matter of public record. DUI, controlled substance, failure to give aid. And a few look like they could have happened at the same time our lawsuit was going on! Distracted perhaps?  I will continue searching for the person involved in this malpractice case against him. I would love to know why and who their attorney is. If this is you then please reach out to me.... I personally wouldn’t recommend this attorney to anyone, unless you’ve got money to burn, time to kill, and a reputation you care nothing about. Such a shame. How do people sleep at night? Oh, that’s right.... on the tears of their clients.
