Aura Vie Skin products, billed as Ella Skin Misled me by offering a free product for doing a survey. Credit card for $2.95 shipping. Charged my account $97.88. Tacked the ad on my banks website. Van Nuys California
I saw an ad for a free sample of Aura Vie skin care for completing a survey. The ad was attached to my bank website so I thought they endorsed it, making it safe. I opened my account and found a charge to Ellaskin 855-335-9526 for $97.88.
I didn't know what it was so I started making some inquires. I couldn't find a website for Ella Skin. Many calls to the number listed, left me on hold for 6 minutes then disconnected the call. I finally checked out the Aura Vie and the first thing that came up is the Ripoff Report with the exact problems.
I asked the bank to challenge the charge and they said I couldn't because of the way it is charged. Now I have to get a new credit card and change all my accounts that are tied to that account. The worst part is that I am a senior, living on social security and losing that amount of money is a major blow to my budget.
PLEASE, find a way to stop these people!
