Extremely deceptive marketing!  I ordered what supposedly was a risk free skin care product and all I had to do was pay for shipping and handling.  Instead, I got a product for which I was billed $97.88.  Because I left for an extended trip abroad, I did not notice the bill on my credit card.  While I was out of the country, they subsequently shipped two more packages for $97.88 each, charged to my credit card.  I did not notice the charges until March (I was still abroad) and immediately contacted my bank to dispute the charges.

They were identified on my credit card as "Revive" in February, "Refresh" in March, and "Skin Kit" in April, names that were unknown to me.  Upon my return on April 10, and upon picking up my "on hold" mail at the Post Office, I noticed the shipments.  I immediately contacted the company to resolve the issue and to return the products.  They refused since the deadline for return had supposedly passed.  They would only accept the April shipment for which I had to pay postage.  They argued that the terms were in their advertisement (the supposedly fine print?)

I have returned their shipment for which I had to pay the post office $11.00.  This is evidently a scam issue.  Not only is it false advertising, it can be considered unauthorized credit card charges.  They make sure that customers overlook the fine print.  If this was a company of any integrity, it would make sure that customers fully understand the consequences of ordering a supposedly "risk free" product.

To add insult to injury, they offered to refund me $25 if I agree not to dispute the charges.  Excuse me, but they owe me at the very minimum $195.76 plus $11.15 for postal cost.  I would have promptly returned the first shipment had I known it costs $97.88 -- skin care products I could have gotten at a local drugstore for a fraction of that. I have filed this report with Scambook as well.  I have also notified my bank that I am filing a formal written complaint.  I hope this report helps others who may fall for this scam.
