Complaint Review: Auto Acceptance - Portland Oregon

So I bought a car back in 2004 of which I was happy to have bought a better looking car, miles were not that bad and it was very well maintenced. Plus the payment per month was awesome.

Unfortunately my husband and I ran into a hardship and were not able to pay the promised down payment. Of which I agreed that we needed to pay. I spoke to the Legal Department did some payment arrangements and ended up on paying it all off.

A legal action was done so I was garnished and it was paid in full. The total amount of 1900.00 was paid in full (Includes Legal Costs and Fees). Now keep in mind I paid this off in 2006. No biggie, so it's paid right.

Well comes middle of 2007 and bam, my husbands account is withdrawn 1200.00 and my account is later withdrawn about 100.00.

I then called the legal department and I am basically shutted up by this male that began to say "Nope you owe me, now, now you owed me so it was paid for by the bank". It was nothing like, let me check your file, hope we did not create a financial hardship, or let me research this for you. It was just a blunt statement of you owe me.

I decided to check with my garnishment company and it so happens I paid in 2006 and all funds were sent and paid in full. I immediately give them the mailing address to send all the proof and also ask to have it faxed to me.

I called the male back at the legal department and am told. "I am still waiting for your file to get to me". I was upset, because I knew that their files can just be pulled, however I always get an excuse. I then asked for the Turn Around time to get my refund back of the funds that were taken out from my bank. All he said was get me info and give me a couple of days. Well I am still waiting.

After all of this mishap, I have been going to the worst financial harship I have ever had. I am late 2 months on my mortgage payment and car payment because I am not able to keep up.... I had to pull from one bill to pay another not to mention the herrendous overdraft fees they caused on my account. They placed a freeze, let go of the funds to them and left me to hang out to dry.

I am seriously looking for a lawyer to get my funds, plus all the additional hardship I have been going through. I was fine and dandy before they came along to mess it all up... 1300.00 may not seem alot, however coming back from a California vacation and see there is no more funds in the account truly have put us back so much.

I am also going to sue all the damages this has caused not to mention a total amount of fees of 700.00 that I still have yet to pay of which I have not been able to successfully do.

No empathy to my situation is even being considered by their mistake of not reviewing their files correctly and diligently.
