My experience with Auto Select Finance has been the worst car buying experience for me. The manager Bruno Bahri and Sean are two pathetic and dis-honest individuals!! For a long time I had been looking for a specefic Honda Accord Model in white which I finally found online at this dealership on Saturday, 1/19/08 I was very excited and went to look at the car rightaway with a friend. We checked everything in the car including the Carfax report and liked it.

After negotiating the price we agreed on the terms and the manager Bruno and the slick salesperson Sean shook my hand and I paid the down-payment. Since it was Saturday evening the banks were already closed for the weekend and also on Monday, 1/21/08 in observeance of Matin Luther King's Day. I promised to be back on Tuesday, 1/22/08 with the rest of the cash and pick up the car. Meanwhile since I bought a new car that same weekend I sold my old car.

So on Tuesday morning I went to my bank to get the rest of the cash for the car since I was not financing it and went to the dealership. I went to the manager's office and he asked me to take a seat. Then he looks at me and tells me that he needs like 3-4 days to find another car for me!! As all of you can imagine it did not make any sense when he said 'he will find me another car'.

Seeing the biggest question mark on my face he then tells me that they sold car to someone else last night and buyer paid for it yesterday and took it!! Meaning after they sold the car to me, took my down-payment they gave the car to someone else which left me stranded with no car and not being able to go to work for another week until I bought another car.

At first after all that they wouldn't even give me my down-payment back saying I had to pick another car!! It was a horrible experince and I would like to inform the public about it so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

My name is Derek and I just purchased a Mitsubishi from Bruno (auto select finance), and as far as I am concerned I had a GREAT exp. buying from this dealer. He came in on his day off to show me the car and on the next day took time out of his day to drive me to his dealership when I could not get a ride. Very polite and not pushy. I read the ripoffs on this site and thought that was pretty un-charicturistic of Bruno and his dealership. In the situations as posted on this site, I apparently should advise to everyone that you NEED TO GET A REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT RECEIPT! That is your responsability. So far for me the exp. was great and plan to do more of my car shopping through this dealer. Thank you. Derek
